eldo 868
Ivory Coast were poor.
Sheva. 5,373
I feel sorry for Drogba, watch him get all the blame from the media now.Technically, he is to blame
Badboy 1,526
Ivory Coast deserved that, they were dominated until the second half of extra time. Zambia believed in their chance to win it !
Henrique 9,133
Drogba has deserved so much more from his career than this, both on a club & national level.Such a shame.Thats football.
Santiago. 1,500
Drogba sometimes lacks showing up in big games which ultimately let to his downfall, the media will be all over his ass because he is their captain, role model, a player of his ranking and prestige needs to be making those penalties. Rubber bullets 1,183
Truth is, Ivory Coast underperformed, while Zambia worked their socks off for 2 hours non stop. Deserved winners.
Kieran. 6,317
Fitting for Zambia, as their whole national team died in Gabon in 1993 in a plane crash.
Blue Armour 4,439
Wouldn't have expected Didier, a man who has scored winners in cup finals, to miss from the spot like that...nerves clearly showed.Well done to Zambia, but just gutted with the fact that Ivory Coast lost this one big chance... TacticalBlues 2,817
Feel sorry for Ivory Coast, really wanted to see Drogba lift that trophy. He deserves so much more. Nevertheless congratulations to Zambia, a fitting tribute to the generation lost in the 1993 plane crash.

How long have you been supporting Chelsea ? At Stanford Bridge he's known as the cup final king ! I think people should have to do a Chelsea FC test before being accepted on this forum because what he's just said is not even an opinion its just false information. Rubber bullets 1,183
To be honest, Drogba did hardly anything in the game. The only note worthy was that back heel to set up Yaya. Nothing else.

Ollie 4,400
Gutted for Didier but to be honest they didn't make enough effort to win the game, they didn't get anyone up in support Didier throughout the match and until Gradel came on for Kalou, they didn't look like scoring. Max gradel is quality and was the best player on the pitch when he came on but he was the only one who beat players and showed some urgency. They didn't show enough bottle to take the game to zambia and express themselves.Zambia showed great spirit and good luck to them. Big chance missed for Ivory coast though and VERY disappointing.Congratulations to Zambia, in memory of 1993 where their plane crashed in that very city. It was simply their destiny to win it.in 12 months time, we go again and this Ivory Coast generation will win it finally!
LDN Blue 7,903
Great. Now we're going to get a pissed off Drogba back.. Wahey. Well done to Zambia though, after '93 it's a good tale.
eldo 868
Most of them were bad. They lost the ball so cheaply, and were poor at using space.
