Liquidator 5,176
Sorry if I'm missing something but why is everyone hoping Ba will go and not the same with Torres? Ba, in half a season, accomplished far more than Torres has in his tenure here. He does also put in a lot of effort. He was offside numerous times against Villa last Wednesday but that's because the attacking midfielders didn't release the ball quick enough. He was pointing where he wanted the ball, they wouldn't play it and he'd be offside. Some people seem to have given up on him after half a season. (He also missed several games last season with a broken nose diving for a ball Torres wouldn't have gone for in a million years) He scored some important goals up until April, most notably against the two Manchester clubs in the FA Cup. He has been pretty shit since the, not going to lie, but is it really fair to judge him over 5 months and decide he should be shipped out and back Torres for 2 or whatever years? He's really not that bad. I'm not saying he should be starting every game but with good service, which he would be getting, he would provide 15+ goals a season (if he was a regular starter). Can't we get rid of Fernando Tosspot instead? Tomo, didierforever and Manuf

robsblubot 3,595
point is - teams actually do WANT BA. they can use him, on the other hand most who in their right mind would buy floppes? That's debatable.Ba is still with us because of his relative high wages, which is the same reason we cannot move Torres. It would be a lot fairer if Torres and Ba were earning the same amount. However, I agree that we could say Ba is a better deal for the buck right now, but if we cannot move him without having to pay part of his wages, then he'd be in the same boat as Torres: the unflushables... didierforever

Mouri_Matic 560
He has probably played his last match for us.
Parky 739
I still think Ba is a good player. Better than Torres. He needs time to prove himself with a solid run of games. But now with Eto looks unlikely.Hope Torres leaves..

Stats 7,145
Looking like Ba will end up at Arsenal on loan. If we are going to get rid of him I think we should sell him not loan him. While it may not worked out for him here, he is stilla good striker and I reckon he would do a good job at Arsenal rotating with Giroud. We should not be strengthening our rivals like this, especially as they are likely to sign Ozil. zolayes and didierforever

Jase 43,479
Loaning Ba out is one thing but loaning him to Arsenal?! What on earth are we thinking?! Why are we loaning a player of ours to a rival in the league?! The Mak, Stats and zolayes

Why are we loaning a player of ours to a rival in the league?! While people will state they will not win trophies, they do look stronger. Giroud is improving and scoring. Ramsey is producing quality this season and a threesome of Cazorla, Ozil and Walcott looks menacing. I do actually take Arsenal seriously this season bar that first game of the season. This is why I do not want Ba going there at any cost. He would be decent backup/rotation for Giroud.

They always seem to find something from somewhere to go on a run of wins when you least expect them too. They are unpredictable really and capable of causing problems to the other big teams on a gran scheme of things. And not to mention, we loaned Benayoun to them 2 seasons ago and he won Arsenal 4 points through his goals which saw them finish in 3rd and 1 point above Spurs. Without those 4 points, our CL win would have dumped them into the Europa League! The Mak and Stats
