Styles 9,790
Tough luck. Torres' salary means he can't be moved on and Lukaku is a long-term player, that leaves Ba as the easiest player to move on out of the three forwards. Wish him well for the future. CHOULO19 24,332
Why would we want to loan him out, though? He's 28, all a lone does is decrease his market value if we want to sell him next year. Either keep him or sell him. Vybz Kartel
gr123 167
Loan? Fuck that, just get rid. We'd probably have to pay half his wages on loan anyway.
bushman 2,043
Preferably, BA should be sold while his value is high. A good point by the above posters. At 28 not worth of waiting much longer.
Jype 6,398
Why a loan? Either keep him or sell him, simple as that. He was great for Newcastle and we got him for below his market value because of the release clause only seven months ago so surely there's someone out there willing to pay enough for us to break-even. Jase 43,479
How much is Ba currently earning per week here? Around 80k?? Maybe nobody is willing to pay that amount if we are to sell Ba to them.

It was said that we double this when he moved here.

You could be right, whoΒ΄s going to pay him so much ?Perhaps, 2m for a loan might be more feasible to expect ?

You could be right, whoΒ΄s going to pay him so much ?Perhaps, 2m for a loan might be more feasible to expect ? He was so cheap and we was so desperate so we overpaid. Right now some Middle East club probably will but then again he is not a big name player so they aren't interested.

Hell, even Yossi f***ing Benayoun was on 80K IIRC!

I know, most of these footballers are making huge money. However, I would not compare Cahill to BA at 80thou a week. To me Cahill is much closer to it than BA ever will. Sure, but his Bolton contract was about to expire that year so being an England international regular he most certainly would have got a good contract elsewhere had he waited till the summer and moved on a free transfer. Cahill is English... and Ba was a panic signing. That explains a lot about what's been going on with Mata; they must be having some very serious money talks. Leif 6,006
Hopefully he goes to Roma. Lazio are about to sign Yilmaz so buying Ba would somewhat even that potential mind-game out (which is obviously a huge part of their alleged interest in him.) I think he'd end up with around 20 goals this season in Italy. Don't see him recapturing form in the Premier League.
