'There's talk an speculation about my future every summer. I've got three years left so my future is at Chelsea,' said Torres.

'I've not spoken to anyone from Chelsea (about my future). I will have the chance to talk with the manager and the club, but until right now nothing has happened.
Sell him Jose!!!

The first couple of pages....

So much hype so much happiness and so much money.

And still want to spend big on another striker......

Comparing Torres to Cavani is like comparing Roy Hogsdon to Mourinho.

Just because we got burned by Torres don't mean it will happen again, if it was Rooney we signed then it probably would but Cavani is the best forward in world football, if we don't get him and City do we will live to regret it.

At the end of the day if the club see fit to sell him then they will do so I will not be worried either way. But I don't worry about the financial side as that is the boards job. If cavani comes lukaku is finished here either way as I see it.

Pew! Didnt read this. I thought his talk about staying meant that he had discussed with the club, but now i understand that it was all bullshit. Jose is probably just planning how to make tell Torres he is not in his plans as painful as possible. I mean even Lukaku said that he had talked with Mourinho.

'I have had a good conversation with Jose Mourinho, and I know it's up to me to show I'm worth a place. It is the World Cup next year, and I need to be playing. But if I don't get in the Chelsea team often enough, then I won't deserve to be in the national squad.

He cannot be in the squad next season. Either we find a suitor for him and he leaves for good, or we find him a club to go to on loan who will pay half of his wages, a move like that will save us £5m next year, which could pay for a squad player or a talented young player somewhere in the globe.

Oh for the love of God Nando just bugger off. If you want to honour your contract then play like you want to. Strolling around with a miserable look on your face then having a poor first touch and losing possession is hardly working hard for your money is it?

And scoring against mickey mouse sides from Russia and Romania doesn't count as being 'back'. To think we could have got Aguero but went for this guy instead...

The same will apply to Fernando Torres, one of the squad's Spanish contingent currently preparing for the Confederations Cup in Brazil and with whom the new manager has yet to speak. "He's a Chelsea player with a contract and he's more than happy to stay and work hard," he said. "We will speak face to face and, if the best for all of us is for Fernando to stay, let's help him and try and get the best out of him."

I don't know what to make of that.

Hopefully he's only saying that in case we're stuck with him for another year! And hopefully he's secretly trying his best to get rid of him...everyone can see he's handicapping the club...

I don't think a lot of us knows what goes on behind the scenes.

Torres has admitted numerous times about how is family is happy here, im sure he has expressed concern over this. And with the Europa League final celebrations, it was the first time, I have seen Torres more of a part of the team than before.

I think Jose and Torres will have a genuine talk about the future. You cannot question torres' skills (of the past), Jose knows how good he CAN be. AND he hasnt played for him yet.

I think we will wait to see what pops up for transfers and offers. But I do feel Torres (behind the scenes) is becoming a bigger part of the club than he used to be. (and the shirt sales $$$$$$$$)

I think he gets until the winter to show himself to Jose. He had a great end of the season run.

Its Jose's team now. We do not know what types of plans he has currently, will have to wait for the first session of training.

Im just excited for this new era. with or without torres, this team will become a european force and exiting the group stage of champions league will be a thing of the past.

Go Blues!
