I liked him, I did but I can't say either that I am surprised sadly he was given every chance and for whatever reason he never lived up to his earlier promise. I was always willing him to do well, he seems a decent bloke.I am sad he is leaving but I guess he just didn't score enough goals A two year loan is strange. If we sold him we'd have to pay off his remaining transfer fee ( i believe it's around £18 million) immediately, causing us to take a hit in our 2014-2015 ffp balance.With this being a loan we'd be able to spread his remaining transfer fee over those 2 years and pay £9 million this year and 9 £million next year.
