Blue Armour 4,439
Backstreet09 does raise a few valid points. But to sum it up, Torres simply doesn't suit Chelsea's style of play. In Liverpool, he used to be at the end of all the moves made by their midfield whereas at Chelsea he has to serve as an extra man in the build-up play. The same is happening with Ba as well, but Ba can hold up play better and knock down the aerial balls like Drogba.
BlueLion. 21,491
He's going to score tonight. He's scored the last seven times I've been to watch the Chels.

You should watch games more often then. However, I'm not sure if he's going to mark his first Chelsea Europa League goal.
Leif 6,006
The moment he's gone I'm going to buy a pinata which has been made to look exactly like him and invite everyone round to bash at it while wearing blindfolds. It will be great.

The Skipper 20,609
Torres makes the team worse ? oh well . When we lost 3-0 to Juve , Torres was on the bench Or let's for example take the CWC final against Corinthians for example when Torres had the best chance to score by far which basically lost us the game... What about that one? What do you have to say about that?Or the fact that he's scored only 1 goal in 2013 so far. I can't believe you're blaming the team for Torres's poor performances. We've chopped and changed from a direct style to a more passing style and Torres doesn't fit in with either. He's not good enough to play for a top team like CFC anymore. Styles 9,790
How many chances were created for him tonight that he fluffed? Do people still want to use the excuse that he gets no service?1 goal in his last 13 games (against Brentford) and 3 Premier League goals since October. KingB 9
Im not defending him in any way but how many shots does suarez miss in a match, atleast 6-7 shots hit the fans. The thing is he gets few chances, and when he does the goalie goes superman on him (al habsi, and the ramires through ball) or he's not in the right body shape. All i can say is he's not suited for chelsea were we need a big guy upfront like Ba or Falcao and even that might not be enough( Ba last week was even worse than Torres had absolutely no chances)
ZanSnake 1,211
its not difficult play Moses up front or Feruz or Luiz or MEPut Cech up-front, would probably get more goals then with Torrid

We simply need a striker who is any good. We had guys like crespo or Hasselbaink there who where not big either. Muzchap
