Let's just hope for the best.

kellzfresh 7,229
Torres actually took the shot even when players were in front of him, gave a good pass to mata for the third.Benitez must have given torres some confidence boosting drugs Muzchap

DH1988 1,348
Scored a goal, looks happy, gave Mata the assistYes he got lucky with the deflection but seriously how many times have we seen that same shot over the past year and it just get blocked or go out for a corner? Make your own luck - nobody complained in 04/05 05/06 when Lampard scored about a million deflected goals. Don't moan for the sake of moaning. Kojo 4,676
So you'd rather have a player continue in bad form?Okay so where did i say that eh?, obviously i never meant that stop taking me for an idiot. It's clear that Torres wont carry on his this scoring form, however I'm glad for the goals he's been scoring, but it wont benefit the longterm as we will keep him instead of moving on, it will also mean we wont go for a replacement which could turn out to be a big blow. renanh and The Mak

The only place to be 11,313
People saying he got lucky are ignoring the fact that he took a chance.Against Sunderland, he took a chance and made a run into the area.Against Nordsjaelland he took a chance for his second and made a front post run.Scoring goals is great, but the fact that he's taking a chance and making runs or having a shot is the most important thing. Before he was ponderous and scared. I'm not saying 'he's back' but he's making some of the right noises. Corner and zolayes

Get him in form and scoring. Then sell him for a huge fee. Buy a great new striker! Financial fair play rescue mission activated! Magic Lamps 11,692
still better to have him performing, the club still got the chance of selling him. Torres best contribution was his brillant pass with the outside of his boot around the defence for Oscar to make a mess of it but Chavez still managed to convert. Nonetheless the old Torres would have scored more, he could not even beat these Monterrey defenders for pace.
