  1. 1. Rafa Out?

What the 'new manager effect' would do for us, far outweighs the fact we would become a joke of a club for sacking two managers in one season. The football world already sees Chelsea as a joke, but this would tip the balance.

Imagine if AVB managed to seal a top 4 spot for Spurs, and we finished below him...

There's no imagine about it. We have Spuds and Arse within touching distance...

So you are basically worried with what other fans and the media will think?

WHO GIVES A FLYING FUCK!?!!?!

We sacked Roberto Di Matteo (for all the reasons we are bored to know) and it has proven to be a major mistake. Roman was impatient and unfair with him, but once the shit was made there was no turning back. With the seat open, the Board was stupid and disrespectful enough to appoint Rafael Benitez in the hopes he would save our season and have a Last Season 2.0. If things were "bad and unacceptable" with RDM (in the mind of the ones who rule CFC), how are them with Bentiez then? If the club needed a change with all the other managers, we need it 50 thousand times higher now.

It does not matter how it will look, we made one of the worst mistakes of our history and there is no shame in correcting it. Benitez does not get along with the fans nor the players. We already have a not so great squad and with all the problems he brings, things get even worse. Our players dont believe in him. I could write shit loads of arguments regarding how big of a difference it makes, but I will just use two words: REAL MADRID. Anyone who comes in will clean the dressing room and the good ambient alone can improve many aspects of our game. On top of all that there are the fans, who are rightfully making SB a very, very hostile enviroment for the whole team....

Yes, it does bothers me (in a sense) that AVB could finish above us and that we will suffer jokes from everyone else, but this will happen because we did shit in the past and not because we are trying to fix it by firing this mother fucking stupid fat twat. We are being judged by what our previous mistakes did to us and not by one single sack. Also, how will it look worse than continuing to lose and draw games like we are? It is better to be the first team to sack 2 managers in the same season than to be the first team to spend 80 million pounds and get knocked out of every single tournament.

You are not worried with us getting back on form, regaining confidence, trust, dignity, pride, love, etc?

EDIT: Anyways, all I am saying is that it cant get worse than that. We are way bellow our possbile level and if being a joke for the next 10 years is the price we have to pay to be free of this cancer and secure a 3rd spot, then be it!

AVB could quite possibly finish above us due to our inadequacies, and the fact that he has learned from his mistakes. Namely, being so tactically rigid and wed to one formation. Something Rafa has not done.

P.S. I despise AVB for just now deciding to stop being such a stubborn twat. If he had been more professional, we probably wouldn't be in this mess.

Yeah, but no AVB and no sacking him equals no Munich and I would happily trade it for Spurs finishing above us in EPL for 3 years in a row!

I care about the clubs image yes, everyone does. You don't walk outside the house naked with the word CUNT tattooed on your forehead.

Well, you shouldnt care about the club image in the way that you are doing. It is not about not giving a shit about how we look, but placing it above football maters!

Besides, that is one of the shitiest analogies I have ever read...

It revolves around football matters, so you've misinterpreted how I'm looking at it.

The damage has somewhat already been done anyway, that's why Rafa should go. Sacking 2 managers in 1 season is one of those statistics that will haunt the club though, that and the Torres fiasco. It's a lose lose situation in regards to PR, sacking Benitez (rather than sticking with their guns) makes the board look clueless.

My point is that if AVB hadn't been so stubborn, he would've been more successful. Hence, we probably would not have had the need to sack him. Who knows what would've transpired in the CL were that the case. I'd rather not persist in trafficking in the hypothetical....

That's true, but when have we ever given a crap about the rest of the football world?

I wonder if the new manager effect will always have an effect...it didn't work for the fat man. There's only so much a team can take...

Changing my no to yes. We need a change. Hopefully the new interim manager can pull out a rabbit and somehow find answers to our squad problems. At the moment our only 2 midfielders are Lampard and Ramires, both of them are playing more then they are capable of and you can see that on the pitch. Though, arguably they are the most important bit in this formation linking the attack and defense.
