  1. 1. Who do you think will be the next CFC manager?

RDM was never the first choice for the job. Chelsea probably wanted Pep but he needed a break. Pep seems to be rested and ready now so Chelsea just needed an opportunity to sack RDM. Now just hopefully Pep is ready. Even our signings seem made to attract Pep.

Rafa will be a temporary manager?

Yeah heard about that. He'll be on a 'short-term' basis.

Just out of curiosity, I just found a weird connection between RDM getting sacked and Torres not playing, with both incidents happening in the same game. A coincidence? Or, maybe Torres himself is behind the sacking?

My apologies if I am talking crap. I just lost my mind

The Mak thinks this is another moment to blame Torres...

Seriously though, think about it. Who signed Torres for Liverpool? Who was going on about 'how to get the best out of Torres' last year? (I believe his answer was to speak Spanish to him) Who is a fat Spanish waiter? Exactly. The Mak feels Roman was just waiting for an opportunity like this so he could sack RDM and employ Benitez, with the only only reason The Mak can see is to accommodate sulky Torres. If Torres doesn't score now, he never will...

Personally, the Mak doesn't think he'll change a bit and continue being terrible. We're better off getting José back, Didier on loan and to get The Mak out of retirement so we can all live as a happy family once again. Wouldn't that be nice?

My only problem with Guardiola is if he insists on not taking over until the summer IMO shows a lack of commitment to wanting to cone here and build something special.

No it is not, he promissed his family to spend one year with them in NYC (which was his kid`s dream). He is already missing football, he said he might even comeback in January in a interview for ESPN a few weeks ago.

Aside from Pep, name one single available manager with a pedigree which matches Rafa's. Now throw his Premier League experience in with that. Now add his Torres experience onto that.

I'm not saying I want him either, but blindly saying "FUCK RAFA WE DONT WANT U SO CALL ME MAYBE NOT XOXOX" is ignorant.

I personally feel he's not got the right/positive attitude for our team, but as far as credentials go, there aren't too many, if any, available and realistic options for us at all who are 'on his level' in a sense.

I just don't understand Roman's thinking. The timing of this is absolutely horrific. It's obvious this has been up his sleeve, and he has used last night's defeat as the reasoning behind it. If someone is going to be appointed today then he has clearly gone behind RDM's back to appoint a new man. No matter how many trophies he could have won, Robbie was never going to win Abramovich over.

AVB was fired shortly after comparing Sheva and Kezman to Torres(a comparision which is not favorable to Torres)

Carlo was fired after reverting to Drogba after Torres couldn't score in 14 matches

Roy was fired after Torres didn't want to play for him

RdM drops Torres one game and he sacked after not getting the best out of him even after 1600 minutes on the field and only one game missed.

Coincidence ? I would not be 100% sure, if we hire Rafa to get the best out of Torres it becomes very obvious

I have a mixed feelings but definitely not happy with this. I'm really shocked although it's a disaster we are going to eliminated from CL and it's not acceptable for a club like us and RDM is primary responsible for it but definitely not happy with this sacking.

RDM can only field the team, and although I don't agree with the team he put on the pitch yesterday was a very good choice, in previous games he has put the right players out. The players are the ones who have to convert on their scoring chances and stop surrendering goals so early in matches.

and with that said: I am completely disappointed with the decision to fire RDM. I also wouldn't be completely upset with Rafa. Maybe it'll spark Torres' play.

I think that is the right attitude tbh. If he comes here i will not boo him, it's romans choice and Rafa has a lot of experience, saying that i dont really want him, but people, we are not liverpool, so its not necessarily gonna be the same...
