Chelsea v Liverpool

Luiz should have been rested against Shaktar then.

Suarez is from Uruguay and VERY South American in the way he moves and dribles (using body rather than just feet). Well, Luiz is also from South America, is used to the style, and actually practices with the likes of Neymar on every Brazil call up.

So, I'd like very much to see Luiz against Suares, especially if Chelsea are going to press and push higher up on the pitch, because both JT and Chill lack pace.

Hmm all the hallmarks of Luiz red-card and Suarez hat-trick...

I don't want Luiz anywhere near this game, my back 4

Azpi. Iva. Terry. Bertrand

That should work nicely :)

Suarez, Sahin and Sterling are players we should cover tightly. They are rested, full of motivation, but I have good feeling.

1.) we are no longer that slow defensive team.

2.) Rodgers is no Dalglish. He might be better coach, but not better motivator. Lpool always played great against us because of the motivation.

Anyway this game we need to win, not just because its Lpool, but mostly because we need 3 points to keep with the top.

Because we can't have the ball for 90 mins, eventually the opposition will get the ball and attack at which point we'll have to defend.

If we cant keep possession, why the f are we playing offensive then?

Once we will CONTROL the game, our defense will be much stronger. But if we are outplayed by Shakhtar (great team, but lack of experience), then there is no point of us to play offensive.

And to mention that our players should cover opponents, close open spaces, pull back,...well this team is just not made for that. I cant see Mata doing some defensive duties like running back and marking opponents all game. Just cant.

So far, they've only beat Reading and Norwich, two of the shittiest teams in the league. If we lose against them at home, oh god, I don't even want to think about it.

And you know there is a possibility of us messing up against them. Would be so typical of us if it happens, again...

Is glen johnson available for this game for them?

Apparently he's been training well and he'll be back in the side.

We should overpower them in the midfield and that could be crucial. Though Suarez will probably tear it up which is why we need a solid back line that does the simple things well. Moses really deserves a start though Rdm won't play him over torres and shouldn't play him over mata hazard or oscar meaning he will have to be a super sub.
