Styles 9,790
Great to win but compliments to Shakhtar. They are really good. I fancy them to go far if they get out of the group.
CHOULO19 24,332
We simply need to better Shakhtar's results. The perfect scenario is that they drop points to Nodsjelland that way we can afford a draw against Juve. If we beat Juve and they go out, then they will have very little motivation to get anything from Ukraine.

TorontoChelsea 4,064
Even if we lost at Juventus, we still have a decent chance to go through although I hate leaving our fate up to others. (assuming we beat Nordsjaelland at home and if we can't, we don't deserve to go through). If Juventus wins both games, they'll be at 12 points and we'll qualify. If Shakhtar wins both games, they'll be at 13 points and we'll still qualify. If either team drop points next game, we'll qualify. If Juventus and Shakhtar win next match day and then draw on the final day, we'd be out. It will be interesting to see how RDM plays it because we gave Juventus too much room in the centre of midfield at the Bridge and were guilty of doing the same today. If we can't mark the trailing man in the box, we'll get beaten. Something we need to work on in training.

YouNameIt 1,511
What a game! Fantastic football from both sides, it has to be said. I think shaktar is a really really good team, real strong.Chelsea:Torres: lucky goal but not goodLuiz: omg, every time he got the ball i began shaking from fearHazard: worked very hard, also defensivelyOscar: what a goalMozes: sublimeMata: good as alwaysIvanovic: best defender tonight imoCahill : no opinionRamires: not good todayMikel: worked very hardCech: the goals weren't his faultBertrand: had difficulties covering his flankWhat the?! I thought Ramires was brilliant and did more than well. And he has done ever since playing in the double pivot.

Failed to give a clear penalty on Ramires. Fernandinho made 6-7 fouls but didn't get a single yellow and then you have our players getting booked after just 1-3 fouls. Strike 7,489
Among the 2 Central defenders, Cahill is clearly much more Reliable than Luiz. that's 3 solid performances from Cahill now. no point saying Luiz is better when he keeps getting turned and makes rash challenges every game
Sheva. 5,373
I don't agree, even if he is a winger, he must defend first. He should always be helping the man behind him when the team is defending. It is not something extra, it is how the system works. If one player does not so his job the system fails and we concede goals as we have seen the past few matches. And didn't he do this? in fact he has been doing this. He and mostly Bertrand fucked up on their goal, no need to over analyze it and put all the blame on a forward.

Cahill on the other hand has made just 4 fouls in 8 appearances. Big difference

Sheva. 5,373
Why does Luiz always foul the striker when the ball is in the air? it keeps happening. Other CB's will just stay close to him, but Luiz always fouls...always!
CFCRazor 49
Fuck stats, we can all see the silly mistakes he keeps making on the pitch. No one else keeps making mistakes either do they *cough* Cahill. I hate how people complain about the team when we win, bad enough when we lose. Anyway, RDM is 100% behind Luiz so like it or lump it!
Hutcho 8,443
I honestly think we should try cahill terry and give it a chance not one match, then change. David luiz can then be very uesful as a sub, when needed. For now our defence should concentrate on being solid and then we can think more attacking from the back. Cahill and terry i think is our best CB partnership we have, in terms of pure defensive abilities. Not to mention the arial power of cahill, terry and ivan from corners and set pieces. different level 1,056
Moses definitely made my evening just as thoughts of having to watch my favourite team on thursday evening started to fill my head. Expected an easier match than the one in Donetsk but that wasn't the case, in fact we were quite lucky to get away with that victory. Ramires was off his usually high standards, Cahill and especially Luiz made a bit too much mistakes, but Betrand was our worst player last night as he was totally raped by Willian and was caught out of his position way too often leaving huge spaces for the curly afroman. Nando and Oscar had good first half both taking advantage of Shakhtar keeper's brain fades, but were a bit lost on the pitch after the break. Otherwise things are looking good, a draw in Turin and we are past the group.
