Why isn't Marin playing yet?

Anyone know why Marko Marin is not playing right now? I saw him come on against Wolves but hasn't even been on the bench in the last few games.

I thought he was over the injury, anyone know?

Maybe Marin isn't 100% match fit just yet...no need to risk him cause our first team is looking balanced at the moment.

Hopefully we see both Sturridge and Marin on the bench sooner rather than later.

That right there... Don't risk another injury when we are doing more than enough with what we have got atm... When he is fully ready he can slot back into the bench, and get some game time...

Not good enough, was a Gamble signing back in April when we were facing the Europa League...

How do you know that he's not good enough? The guy is only 23 & has the ability to be a solid rotation winger/possible game changer off the bench for Chelsea.

I just have a feeling he'll be injury prone through his Chelsea career and in about 2 years go to some middle of the road German team like Hannover... I really hope he can get fully fit and play well for us though because time is on his side and he has a lot of ability.

October 31st, Man Utd, League Cup. His chance.

In no circumstance is signing a 'squad player' for £6.5m a gamble.

He would've probably been more than a squad player if we ended up in the Europa League, so it would've been a gamble for me.

Not so much now given the players we've been able to bring in due to the CL win.

Willian was another player who would have come in had we become a channel 5 club, so Marin would still be a mere squad player.

In no conditions is £6.5m a gamble for a top flight club anyway tbf.

I think he is injured i watched Blues news all last week and dont recall seeing him in training, the only 1st team players i can remember seeing were JT, Mata, Sturridge, Paulo and Azpi. So he must be injured again.

They actually said that he had gotten the week off, and was back in Germany for vacation, and enjoy time off with his family.
