Badboy 1,526
I really didn't think he had a future at this club I thought Patrick would of gone on to be the better player but this guy has fought tooth and nail and he's an extremely viable option on that left wing. CHOULO19 24,332
No one deserves this more than Ryan. Hopefully, he is the first of many youth academy products to go down this road.
BleedsBlue 1,549
another positive of sacking AVB.This young talent would have never had a future here had it not been for RDM.
Magic Lamps 11,692
For once, a youth graduate of ours has made it into our first team squad. Considering he only made his break-through with 23 it has to be stated u simply have to give your prospects time, have patience with them and they have to have patience with themselves. Our loan-as-much-as-necessary policy did it this time, but at some point u have to trust your players. So sad we lost Borini and Stoch

robdog 2,084
I know this is a bit off-topic, but Bertrand shows how Ashley Cole has done more than play for the Shield. He has assisted in Youth Development. I hope we tie up Ashley as a Coach too, so we can have more Ashley clones

Tomo 21,751
Just goes to show, don't write off a player when he doesn't make an appearance at home to Wolves at 18 years old.If their good and patient enough they will make it.

Kojo 4,676
Has potential to replace Ashley Cole definitely, but we shouldn't overplay him by any means, just rotate with him and Cole that's all it takes.I wouldn't want something to happen to him like Kyle Walker for example, Redknapp got rid of his back up fullbacks and just shot Kyle Walker there to play all the games. Walker was good then started going off form and he couldn't be replaced, making shocking mistakes every game, made all three of them in the United game what they should've easily won. It's a shame because he was a great defender for Villa, i don't think that lad will be the same again. But i don't want to see that happen to Bertrand if we overplay him, i doubt it though, i just hope we handle this perfectly and give him the right amount of playing time. He's basically inconsistent on a run of games and in a game, you never know if he'll manage or miss his challenges. He misses 1 tackle out of 3, he can give brilliant crosses or absolute shit, he can be a great defender with retreating defense but he can have an elatic marking as well.I think the reason to that is his state of mind, I wait a bit more to conclude if he's rather a future Glen Johnson or just a young player who wants to do too much and then can't canalize all his energy and willingness.Offensively he was good for Villa, scoring that goal against Fulham. But I saw several games, his positionning and marking shouldn't be showed on videos in academies

What is wrong with a bit more monitoring, i just hope we don't just shot him out there, because he's a young English talent who is going to have loads of pressure which he hasn't really had until now with his England cap as well. Just rotate him with Cole rather than play him all the time and shot him out left wing, that's all I'm saying. Once again trying to start an argument, act your age for once. But I saw several games, his positionning and marking shouldn't be showed on videos in academies Kyle Walker was a very talented player, brilliant in the u-21 tournament also. But Redknapp shot him out there to play all 38 games in the league and in cup matches, he was going off form halfway through the season and Harry couldn't really drop him even though he had too. It's hard for young players in the Premier League to just adapt, it takes time and you have to handle them, not just shot them in the deep end. And that's what I'm saying with Bertrand, he's going to have loads of pressure on him as he is an English talent and has just been given his first England cap and is getting one again i believe. So it's best to just rotate with Cole rather than play most games or even shove him out left wing that's all I'm saying, but i doubt he will even start ahead of Cole most times anyway. Once again trying to start an argument, act your age for once.I agree with you on Betrand, let's protect him a bit and give him every chance to succeed!I DO NOT agree with you claiming Zolayes was trying to start an argument, he was simply expressing HIS opinion as every member has the right too...Chill out and stop taking things personally. You make some great posts thank add real value, but don't shoot yourself in the foot by making it personal...
