Kojo 4,676
You've completely misunderstood me. I think Moses is a step ahead of De Bruyne in his developpement as a player. I've never compared their ability or their style of play, they're two different players. My point is sending De Bruyne on loan and signing Moses makes sense at the moment. And for the record I like De Bruyne and his playing styleWell call me ignorant but I could've be bothered reading it all, I just scanned through and seen some things. Moses is nothing special and Dave Whelan is actually having our eyes out with this 10 million price tag.
Wise 45
I'm not saying you are, doubt you would.Im taking about most people on this forum, everyone was happy to see KDB coming into the team, a lot of hype, as there should be. Then 3 games of pre season on the wing and everyone wants him off on loan and aren't interested in him anymore.KDB cannot play as a winger, he's lethargic, lacks pace, he's more technical and creative type player, cam is his best position. He excelled in midfield for Genk, not AM. Kojo 4,676
He excelled in midfield for Genk, not AM.I've watched him play behind the striker and i think he's awesome there. But as Spike said, maybe it's best to adapt him into central midfielder.Unfortunately for De Bruyne he just isn't an explosive player at all, he's like the opposite of Walcott, he can cross a ball, pass, shoot, do many things. But he lacks the pace, he's not even really that strong either. Just not a physical player, but I'm talking about attacking wise, he wouldn't get pushed off the ball in midfield or anything. I'm sure a few players in the squad will have to work on their strength and resistance sooner or later as they are as thin as twigs!

Rahul Haque 57
just how good is moses? is he an out and out winger? will he give us width? what does this mean for our striker situation? surely we have to keep lukaku if this is the case. He can play both sides as well as he has done for Wigan. If we sign Moses and get Lukaku playing good, imagine them 2 beasts up top outmuscling everyone

Stats 7,142
Watching how we have shaped up pre-season I am definitely in favour of a move for Moses for a different dimension. Ramires is one of my favourites but sometimes is useless on the RW unless we are counter-attacking. He is very direct and can play both wings wnd judging by the amount of fixtures and injuries we may pick up, he would be a useful addition. Not only that, after N'Zogbia left he took over the main man role there and was brilliant and at a team like us surrounded by better players he may not play as much but he will definitely improve as a player IMO
Rahul Haque 57
but why are we after players like moses? the faith rdm has on torres and sturridge must be sky high and perhaps he even likes the look of piazon? who knows? another winger wouldn't hurt though especially a fast one that goes wide. BlueLion. 21,491
Completely take back what I said about Moses. We do actually need someone like him afterall
LDN Blue 7,903
I maintain this is a bad move for both club & player. For his own sake I hope our bids are denied, he still needs to keep developing. Wigan is a perfect destination for him to stay at, he needs at least 2 more years there.. We'll just make him rot in reserves & occasionally on the bench. Leif 6,006
I only wanted him when I thought we'd be missing out on the CL next season, as I'm sure he'd be great for a team in the Europa League. However; who on earth could imagine - "The European Champions have just signed Victor Moses from Wigan Athletic to solve their winger problem." ?I actually think this guy would be fantastic in the Bundesliga. BleedsBlue 1,549
I don't understand why we must only sign popular well known players.Moses is not a fourth division player and I am sure he can do a great job for us if given enough time and chances. xPetrCechx 13,570
Only if malouda will leave and only for rotation. We need a better player for the starting 11 (RW).
Beigl 1,387
Seems to be the next signing.I think that´s a good transfer.Moses is young,a good winger and decent striker and another good thing about him,is the fact that he is a Home Grown Player. killer1257 3,282
I have some questions about Victor Moses.I don´t really know anything about Moses and i am not sure, that i even saw him play.Maybe i saw him, when he played againt us,but i am not so sure about that^^.So here are my questions:Would you see him in the starting eleven? Is he good enough to be our RW?What are his strenghts an his weaknesses?I hope, that i can get some good answers
Magic Lamps 11,692
Moses is a fast, strong, very athletic player, a natural winger, almost completely two footed. He is a decent finisher. His technique is good but not great. In terms of playing style, Valencia is probably who he comes cloesest to.His weaknesses are his lack of vision and his rather average passing. As of now he would probably fit in and compete with Marin for the RW spot. In case we ahve to wait for mata and oscar of who i dunno how they would do in RW, I would say he would be first11 RW, as he is better than ramires thereReportedly we have agreed a bid of 8m to sign him. Don't know how reputable the source is http://www.myfootballresults.co.uk/chelsea-agree-fee-for-wigan-youngster/15627
