A close runner-up, IMO, but prone to the odd bad game. Cesar is just awesome. I find it very difficult to put into words just how professional he is in terms of his attitude towards the game. His positional awareness and appreciation of the demands of the CB role is incredible considering he has effectively played as either a RB or LB his entire career.

Can see where you're coming from but we're better off not comparing because we'll be lucky if we get leaders like Terry and Lampard again. Best to let Cahill/Azpi be their own man and see how they lead the team when needed.
