EskWeston 696
I noticed when Yernited loaned out to Prem clubs there was always a clause that they couldnt play against them -wonder if this is the case with Di Santo, Sinclair.......Without a doubt. The last thing you want is your own player to put up and score against you....
5354 204
A loan move to Wigan is an excellant move for Sinclair. It is his chance to play Premiership football on a regular basis. It is fantastic that we are now finally getting Premiership loan deals for our young players, this is the next level for them where they can show they can do it at this level. Hopefully he can get the games he needs there. Quite a big move for him also considering his loan moves in the Championship have not been a massive success.Shame we couldn't get Bertrand in a Premiership club also, although i am sure we are looking at getting Jack Cork into one.Agree. 1 season could kind of determine their future. I seriously hope they do well. :eyebrows:
BlueLion. 21,491
Think it would be a great move for him, on loan, much like Mancienne going to Wolves and di Santo to Rovers. I think Sinclair is too good for the Championship after proving himself to be adept in that particular league, and a step up for him is a move to a club like Wigan where he is likely to play around 20 games in the PL. NoFear 23
Do wigan have any wingers in their squad ?? I dont think so. because in that case its a possibility that he might get 1st team action more than we hope as well !!! In any case, a loan to a premierleague club is always better than a championship one ..Here's wishing both DiSanto and Scott best wishes
ZanSnake 1,211
I think he'll replace Valencia on the wing for this season for Wigan, and then they'll sign somebody. Hopefully he can gain confidence and get the praise he deserves. This could either make him or break him, hopefully it can make him.
Tomlewis7 0
I think Sinclairs not so amazing time in the Championship is easily explainable....Its because the league is too rough and physical...Not enough about football...Although this image has changed a lot over the past few years...Its still the case. My dad is a Birmingham City fan and so i was forced to watch Sinclair last season...He got bullied at times...The premier league is less so physical and will suit him better...And also the quality that he will be playing WITH will help, as with Di Santo
LDN Blue 7,903
Blackpool manager Ian Holloway is plotting an ambitious bid for Chelsea starlet Scott Sinclair. It would be a reunion of sort as it was Ian Holloway who first discovered Scott Sinclair at 10 years old.http://www.newsoftheworld.co.uk/sport/football/859047/HOLLOWAY-EYES-SINCLAIR-REUNION.html
We Hate Scouse 10,327
Would be nice to get a couple of million for the kid. I do hope he goes though, he is a complete flop. Wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if he scored against us next season though.

Clevemayer 764
don't think scott will move on, he has shown glimpses of his ability in his pre season he could be an super sub and sometimes start games against lower opponents, he was relly good against Frankfurt, no one of frankfurts defenders could get near him, so they started to kick him around... after the last couple of games, i hope he stays and gets a super sub, like inzaghi but in an other position of course... EskWeston 696
Would be a good move for Scott to play again with Holloway who knows him very well and would give him the games. Might be worth in this case making it a loan move as this could really kick-start his career. Although i could understand why if the club to make a transfer. BlueLion. 21,491
If the above link is right and he's allegedly going to Swansea it would be a superb move for him. Unfortunately, in my opinion, Scott is simply just a very good Championship-level footballer, I don't think he has shown the quality to be a Chelsea first-team player. Badboy 1,526
I had very high hopes for him a few years ago and he did not do a thing of note at wigan, if we get 1m for him that will be good.

Was a quality player up until the point he went on loan and then it started to wrong for him, his initial loan at Plymouth was very good but after that it never worked. BlueLion. 21,491
I agree, I don't think he's been managed well at all. I hope the club doesn't do the same with other youngsters, especially Josh McEachran or Conor Clifford.

BomTrett 50
Just seen on the Mirrors website, that he's apparently going to snub a move to Ipswich and Swansea in order to move to Blackpool.I assume this means a permanent transfer because apparently he wants to be nearer to his girlfriend who's an actress on Coronation Street HA. Manuf 1,448
He is one of the players who really tried on the pre-season. I rate him very high. He could be our Walcott. We need someone like him especially since Stoch is gone. He could play on left or right wing and tear defenders apart. He is better sub than Kalou. ZanSnake 1,211
Swans reveal Sinclair approachNo further contact from Blackpool regarding Rangel Sinclair: Wanted by Swans Swansea have made an approach for Chelsea winger Scott Sinclair, while chairman Huw Jenkins has also confirmed Blackpool have not come back with an increased bid for right-back Angel Rangel. Sinclair worked with Swans boss Brendan Rodgers during his time at Stamford Bridge and it is hoped that could sway the 21-year-old when he returns from Chelsea's short pre-season trip to Germany. The youngster has failed to establish himself with the reigning Premier League champions and has instead enjoyed several loan spells, most recently at Wigan last season, but the Swans are keen to lure him on a permanent deal."We have spoken to Chelsea about Scott," Jenkins confirmed in the South Wales Evening Post. "Brendan obviously knows him pretty well from his time at Chelsea and we hope that could play a part in Scott's decision."The next step is to try to make contact with the player. If something was to happen, though, we're not sure whether it would take a few days or a few weeks."Regarding Rangel, who was the subject of a rejected bid from Blackpool last Friday, Jenkins added: "I've not spoken to anyone at Blackpool since we turned down their offer. "I'm not sure if they will phone us again regarding Angel, but he is a player we are not looking to sell." Source: SkySportsIn my opinion, i hope that he doesn't go anywhere and Carlo gives him one more chance. In pre-season he showed me class and dedication to do well for the time when he was on the feild. I say give him one more chance here at Chelsea then at some loan team. But, if he shall leave, then i hope we can milk as much money for him as we can. But like i said, maybe that dedication is something we would need in the last dying minutes of a game for a final attack.
Madmax 9,219
As with the likes of Mancienne and Cork, I would ideally want Sinclair also to have one full season with us for a chance to prove himself. He didn't do well at Wigan last year, but it''d be a shame if he goes without having an opportunity to show us what he can do.
