CHOULO19 24,332
I'm not worried about Roman getting trouble. He's bigger than FIFA/UEFA and he's certainly bigger than the Dutch FA. I don't like it, but's true.

the wes 7,212
Quote Chelsea scout Piet de Visser has stated his dissatisfaction with the way the club’s loanee’s are being treated at Vitesse. http://www.football-oranje.com/chelsea-scout-unhappy-vitesse/? Blue_Fox_ 2,086
I have never seen this partnering up with Vitesse as a serious project. If you are playing for Chelsea and below the age of 21, your career is automatically dead at this club in the same exact moment in which you are sent on loan to Vitesse, simple as. And this, most of all, is Chelsea's fault. It is not surprising when they won't play our players, especially when we send them the likes of Wallace, Piazon, Kakuta, Nathan, Brown, Pantic, Mceachran and so on. Traoré was on loan there, he is quality and he was playing regularly. Just use it as a proper b-team, and most of all, send on loan only players that you know could eventually make it as squad options, or first team regulars. Of our 30+ loanees i would argue only 5 could break in the team, the other 25+ are mostly garbage. #stoplegalizedslavetrade.

Spike 12,049
People still think Chelsea buy players to actually play for the team? I've said it before I'll say it again. Most of these guys are bought in, loaned out and hopefully sold for a profit. It's simple human trafficking. Piet de Visser has been quite vocal and critical of Chelsea and Mourinho lately. I can't say I disagree with him either.

Top of my list are: Pasalic, in time, he could become a very valuable squad player, depending on his progress, maybe something more. Musonda, this is a obvious one. Boga, would need a better loan, maybe two, and see how he progresses. Christensen, another obvious one. Solanke, maybe as a squad player in the future, if these contracts talks will come to a fruitful ending. I honestly can't see anyone else breaking into the team, and we'll be lucky if half of the ones i listed will make it.
Yeboii 1,844
He has a point. Baker, Solanke and Brown are probably much better than their players. Nathan is really good as well. I don't really know anything about Pantic though.

Too bad that the latest had so many injuries in most important years of his career but he is playing great in PSV.

Forgot about Aké I don't think Baker will make in all honesty, but maybe it's too soon to judge, haven't seen all that much of him this season. I am not sure about Baker either tbh But Van Ginkel is a pretty interesting player ... he could be rotation player for Fabregas in deep lying playmaker position

Not really, they are signed to play for the team if good enough, and it has its advantages, in Courtois we basically (for all intents and purposes) signed a world class goalkeeper for nothing in 2014. If one Courtois level player can creep out of the woodwork every three years then that alone vindicates the loan system we use, Christensen looks set to be the next one, if a midfielder follows suit in say 2018/19 that's a world class spine assembled by the loan system. I agree. People can point out players, that have not worked out, all day long, but we must remember that the loan system provided football with players like De Bruyne and Courtois! I feel like we go over this process time and time again There's no doubt the youth transfer market is a market of its own. Behaving in an entirely different way to the 'professional' transfer market. You're not just buying potential for yourself you're buying on their value and such. Personally, I don't know how I feel about it. Our academy is a treasure chest right now, the replication of the Busy Babe's record in FAYC is a feat that should be shown off. Their time is quickly upon us and I'd dread to think the repercussions of screwing these guys up. I don't want to bring up the generation we've let go again, but we're gonna have to do a lot better than one Courtois every 3 years.. Can't agree with this, at all. Would you say that the day we signed, say Cuevas, Perica, Wallace, Nathan, Rodriguez, Hector, you said, this is a good signing for the future, they will be good enough for us. (Probably after watching youtube videos, because that's what i often did. ) One thing is signing Courtois, KdB, (I wouldn't include Christensen in this category) because you know they are going to be huge talents, another is buying players because, whatever it is the reason we buy those kind of players. It is only natural that in the mix of 30+ players on loan, an average of 2 or 3 will be decent to good players. Why don't, instead, do some proper homework, and sign only players we know are going to be useful and will make it in the team. In short, I really can't bring myself to like this loan system we adoperate.
