Spike 12,049
For a moment I thought we had signed Fernando Torres' brother á la Thorgan Hazard.

Hazard crosses and Torres gets on the end of it.Whilst Musonda, Musonda and Musonda warm up on the sidelines.
The Big Drog 1,110
I saw him play a few times at the Euro under 19 Championships this Summer. He was probably the pick of the bunch, undoubtedly their best midfielder, he will almost certainly become a real top class player. I cant see us getting him though, he is close to cracking the Athletico Madrid first team. However if we did manage to pull off this signing it would be a very significant one for the future, inevitably he will end up a mainstay in the midfield of the senior Spanish side. Nando 106
Torres has the ball , what a passe of Torres for Torres and Torres scores !!! I think he has 'Oliver' on the back of the shirt :cHe's definately a great prospect, but for him it's better to stay at Atleti, where in a year or two he can play regularly. Here he'll play in the academy for a year and later will be loaned.

OneMoSalah 8,887
Why don't we just wait until hes an established player before going and buying him and potentially stalling his development. Seems more reasonable than buying players at 16 and then not playing them and eventually selling them when they are 23.

If we bought him now he'd have his development stalled something hellish, he'd be half the player he could be here than at Atletico if he joined this summer. bababoom 4,478
Oliver Torres is one of the next big talents for spain, it would be crazy not to want him.
EskWeston 696
Fits the profile of the type of player we are looking for. Talented, quick and excellent vision. It really is good to see us bring them in at a younger age and let them develop with us. But lets see, we are linked with a LOT of players at the moment. Mr_President 404
If we could get him and loan him out to Atletico that would be great but I don't see it happening. It is much better for his development to remain part of their academy instead of the undoubtedly shit English Reserves system.
