Oscar

You know he's going to stay. We'll hear "this will be the manager that will make him consistent" like we always do.

Hes a player I want to love because he clearly has superb talent and shows sporadicly that he's capable of brilliance, but he does it once every 4-5 matches it seems like. He can look amazing one day and we call for him to be yanked at half time other days.

Big dilemma with Oscar. I think that our attack would look so much better with a quality replacement for him but I also think that if we sold him he'd pull a Kevin De Bruyne and become a superstar somewhere else. This is why I'm not sure if we should get rid. We kind of have to see what the next manager can do with him.

Common sense in disguise.

would u be so sure that Oscar won't make elsewhere? Would u put money on it?

no I no longer think he will make it here but would never put my money against him making elsewhere in a diff system and perhaps diff role.

Why is he even getting slagged off? He literally had only 15 minutes to make an impact. No idea why people are pretending a ball over 50 yards with a defender draped all over you is easy to control. I saw people saying he was the worst player on the pitch yesterday. Absolutely pathetic & unfair to scapegoat him like that.

People are just frustrated with Oscar, it is 100% incorrect to blame him for the result against PSG but they are expecting him to atleast show his "talent" once in a while.

Don't think I've ever been as disappointed in a chelsea player as I am with Oscar (bar Torres). He had so much hype and so much promise but nowadays he can barely keep the ball. Won't repeat what many have said about consistency or the lack of it. I still like the person but as a player not as much.

Would keep as a squad player though as he is clearly talented but just not starting material. Would sell if a good offer came from a club that he actually wants to go to, not China.

He scored a hat trick a few weeks ago and was great against Arsenal.

I understand the frustration but Costa missed two sitters yet Oscar's getting slagged off for one half chance lol.

THIS!

Cant disagree with a word here except for keeping him as a squad player. Would simply eat away time for young players like RLC or Musonda or Boga either playing on the wing or as a no.10.

He exactly the kind of player that we should sell if we want young players to come through at the club.

I have hardly seen anyone talk about Oscar's chance and yet Gilvorak is criticizing 'imaginary people' to talk about his boy.

He has been so quick to defend Oscar against PSG but he would not say any word on Willian for his performance. I don't think he has or ever will compliment Willian or accept that he was wrong about him. When Willian never used to be a stats wonder, he would be the first to go into his thread and criticize him, stating he is not good enough etc, Oscar was a better player etc but since he performs he just leaves it. Guilt all round
