BlueLyon 9,359
The man Di Matteo......giving us that textbook answer. If the press would be wrong, he would deny the rumours. I also guess its club policy not to talk about deals who are not officialy confirmed.
BenIsLegend 475
http://globoesporte....no-chelsea.htmlIts official. CBF released Oscar to take medical exams, and the deal will be made offical tomorrow.Contradicting comment "It's official" "Will be made official tomorrow" But I do agree that the deal does seem all but announced atm
Blue-in-me-Veins 4,067
Good thing about living in the Eastern time zone of the USA. It's mid-day in London when I wake up, so I can usually get some juicy news right away. thats how i wake up evry mornin bro haha
Leif 6,006
It's quite odd that I'm more excited by this signing than Hazard's considering I've no idea how he'll even fit in, but like I've said many times, although players like Hazard have extraordinary talent, Oscar definitely has *it*.I've got butterflies in my stomach now. Haven't had these since I fancied some girl in high school years ago!

OneMoSalah 8,886
I hope Oscar bulks up a bit, looking at that screensaver he looks thin, really thin.
Wise 45
Brazilian media reporting the fee to be 25 million Euros, good value!
BenIsLegend 475
That screen shot looks epic but I don't want to use it until he's official
Pizy 18,909
I hope Oscar bulks up a bit, looking at that screensaver he looks thin, really thin.Mata looks like he weighs about 80 lbs as well. He did fine. Players like David Silva and Modric are tiny, too.

Players like David Silva and Modric are tiny, too.Yes but they could do with an extra 5 or 10 lbs or something. I feel Oscar will need it for sure anyway as this will be his first season in Europe, going straight from Brazil to England will be very difficult and I'm sure he will realize the physicality in both leagues are totally different. Waterfall 893
I think the difference in physicality is overstated. I've seen some ridiculous tackles in South American games too. As long as he can cope with the pace of the game, he should be fine.

Ollie 4,400
Really annoying that him and Mata are at the Olympics. I'd love to see them in pre season.

It must be annoying for RDM too as he isn't able to fully test out everything he wants to

The Big Drog 1,110
But look at it this way, we get to see De Bruyne and Piazon play. That's true and anyway we will get to see Oscar against British opposition on Friday.Personally Id also rather they were at pre season with us but representing their countries at the Olympics obviously means a lot to them. In any case, Marko Marin and De Bruyne aren't exactly the worst replacements in the world.
BenIsLegend 475
But look at it this way, we get to see De Bruyne and Piazon play.Good point With some big names not present, we get to see some of the youngsters given a run out. Although it would of been better for Oscar (If he does become a CFC player) to get some chemistry with the squad before the season begins :/
Ollie 4,400
It's good to see de Bruyne and Piazon play of course but just be nice to have everyone available, especially Mata and Oscar. I'd love to see that Mata - Hazard - Ramires or Oscar attacking threat on the pitch at the same time against a team like Seattle and PSG in a different way. I love Piazon tho, can't wait to see him in the full set up. It's amazing thinking of the team we could put out next season. I've never known anything like this, this is what you call transformation.
