Thorgan Hazard

So the Hazards aint 100% belgium or what?

Yes they are.

He's talking about Adnan Januzaj, hugely talented 18-year old at Man Utd. He was born in Brussels, Belgium but is from Albanian heritage and so far, has ignored all call-ups for the Belgium national youth squads. Januzaj is another future star for the big stage, same class as Hazard.

Laughing at people who said this was a "token" signing because of his older brother. Thorgan's got talent of his own and had a wonderful season, 2 goals and 2 assists today isn't bad at all. We shouldn't place any high expectations on him yet though in my opinion - let him develop at his own pace. Could turn out to be a stellar signing if we do that.

I agree ... He could be one that just ripens slower. This kid does have talent!

He recently said he looks forward to play alongside guys like Kompany, Hazard etc at the Belgian NT

he didnt say such thing? Neither did he say he will play for Albania...

This is what he said...

Belgium have a formidable squad now at international level..

Yes, we have got good players in Belgium. Eden Hazard, Mousa Dembele etc. They are all big players but I hope to just do my best and have a good career with my football. I’ve never played for Belgium at youth level. It will come later, there is no point in rushing. I will just try to do my best for Manchester United and that’s it for now.

KRC Genk has Thorgan on top of theire transfer list for next season, and if i understand the news (rumour) correctly they would try to buy him from us..

I would love to see him at my favourite Belgian club (not permanant), but is it really a step forward? Probably loaning him to a smaller pl team would be better for him..

I think he can get a lower PL or championship loan which will be better than his current loan in zulte. Hes been called up to the belgium first team, so he must be doing things right in his loan. I think hes ready for that step up to 1 level higher.

a championship loan would actually be a step back from a top 3 side in Belgium. He needs at least a PL loan next season.

I agree that he should get a PL loan maybe to a newly promoted team, but i dont think championship would be a step back. With all due respect to the belgian teams, i think he would benefit of playing in england and get to know english football even if it is at a lower level.
