LDN Blue 7,903
I agree with you but you have to look at it from his point of view. When you had the chance to break into Chelsea's first team to play with Fernando Torres, wouldn't you shoot to score? Noone in the end will remember how wasteful you were if you score. Noone criticizes Robben, Van Nistelrooy etc. As long as he doesn't take crazy shots every second touch and delivers goals for Chelsea aswell, I can live with a few ambitious ones, you never know.. just look at the goal Essien scored against Barcelona at bridge. Sturridge remids me of Drogba abit. He has better ball control than Drogba but less strength. Otherwise they're both quite physical, selfish if you want to call it like that.. can draw some similarities but too soon to label anyone. Experience comes with time so when he matures as an athlete he'll understand when to opt for personal glory and when to look after the team and pass the ball. It'll come by time and Bolton loan will do him only good even if he remains on four goals but gets playing timeOf course, that was my point though. While we rejoice that he is taking his chances, we must remember, he has quite a way to go still. Like you said, he's still got the mature and this spell at Bolton is giving him plenty of experience. So while he's not a finished package yet, we've still got a lot more to see from him. MetsajCFC
Tomo 21,751
I know its unlikely but lets just say for arguments sake he returns next season and we ....Win the quadhe scores 47 goals in 56 games including the winner in all 3 finals and the goal that won us the league at the Emirates.Would you care if he does fuck all else apart from scoring? Which requires him to pass the ball and give him team-mates a chance, our assessments would go hand-in-hand

Peace. 4,352
20110303 Coyle - Sturridge talk must wait Bolton boss eager to agree new deal for on-loan Chelsea hotshot Bolton boss Owen Coyle insists that talks over taking Daniel Sturridge back on loan next season will have to wait until the end of the season. Sturridge agreed to join Bolton on loan until the summer having found first-team opportunities hard to come by at Chelsea. And the 21-year-old striker has kick-started his career by scoring in each of his first four games for the Trotters.Coyle has admitted he would relish the opportunity to have Sturridge back at the Reebok Stadium next season but claims that prospect cannot be discussed just yet."I think that conversation will be for the summer because there's a number of factors that have to be taken into account there," he told Sky Sports News."I'm enjoying having Daniel at the football club at this moment, that's my focus between now and the end of the season - helping Daniel to realise all his potential, and by doing that he'll help Bolton Wanderers."For me, it was always going to be a win-win situation. That Chelsea would get back a player who's had the opportunity to play week-in, week-out in the Barclays Premier League, a player who's flourished in doing that.http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11668_6790710,00.html
ZanSnake 1,211
Next season? He can fack off!He is a Chelsea player next season, who next season may actually makes his mark on the team. He has already shown us that he can actually play in the PL with ease and with confidence he is a superb player.

HRiver 1,512
He must come back definitely. We're struggling to score more than one goal per game and with Sturridge in the team goals will definitely come next season. He's a great striker.
