I hope he doesn't succeed there, gets sacked and we see the end of Tottenham. He could work out for them, but also couldn't...I hope the latter. Let's see what happens...it will be wrong seeing him at Tottenham though :(

Shame, if he succeeds I will probably begin to hate him, even though I really liked him here...

I think AVB is dreading playing us, with the likely destruction of his team waiting for him at the Bridge. Spurs have again, raised their hopes and become deluded, thinking they can even be mentioned in the same sentence as us. RDM will put them and AVB back in their place.

I'm not being pessimistic, but he will do a great job there. Mark my words.

It's reported that he wants to buy Gylfi Sigurdsson, Jan Vertonghen, Daniel Sturridge and Oscar - he will have 87m € to spend.

Doubt it, maybe if they sell Modric.

Didn't Sturridge complain about not getting the chance to play upfront under AVB too? And I remember AVB was always constantly going bonkers at the touchline at Sturridge for not tracking back and doing his defensive work. So I'm not too sure whether AVB actually wants him at Spurs.

Tottenham is the perfect team for him, unfortunately.

They also have less 'egos' amongst the team as everyone knows how shit they actually are, aside from Modric, Bale, and arguably a few others.

I fear though that Andre will do for them what he said he would do for us.

Bring in the youth, find young talented players (such as Romeu) and, although I hate thinking this, pip us to the top 4 again.

Our boys better be ready for a fight next season.

Can't wait 'till we take 'em on.

...........You think that with our Squad we will be challenging for 4th spot? Mate, with the team we're building we'll be challenging for the title and willl finish no lower than 3rd. The Twats will be nowhere near us. Similar to last season how it was the 2 Manchester teams fighting for the title and the rest scrapping over for the remaining positions. This season it'll be us 3 fighting for the title and the rest scrapping. I cannot believe you actually think we would finish 4th or lower <_<

That's what I'm afraid of too.

I seriously don't get why people keep on talking how Tottenham is the perfect team for him because they have less egos. While that is probably true, it's really all down to man management and communication with the players. IF AVB tries to distance himself from the players and be a dictator with that team like he did with us, then the Spurs's players would find it tough working with him and rebel against him too at some point.

I was browsing a spud forum just see the reaction and laugh at the deluded pricks, wasn't a resounding success really until I saw this

Right, put a different spin on it... a SPURS manager fails dismally at the club, only to (be sacked, and then) return to ANOTHER London club, with all the extra motivation of proving us wrong... personally, I'd be SHITTING myself that he would be a barnstorming success at his NEW club... thing is, that NEW club is US! So beware Chelsea... after what you did to us last season, we've got a fucking massive score to settle! ...and JUST the man to help us settle it!

BRING IT THE FUCK ON!

Still getting a good laugh 5 minutes later.
