Eden Hazard

How did you come to that? Do people always feel the need to pick out something negative when the team seems to be moving in a positive direction?!

I don't think for one moment Hazard bothers whether he can outshine Mata or not. In a team that is filled with so many creative and flair players as well as playing good attacking football like we're doing now, I don't think he or anyone for that matter would even bother worrying about outshining others. He or others would be enjoying themselves playing together with these players, have fun on the pitch, tear up the oppositions and bang in the goals for the team. In addition, despite Mata not being much older than Hazard, I'm sure the latter is more than happy to be learning a few things from the former and likewise as well.

If you want to talk about Hazard not being happy, it's probably just Hazard's nature that he doesn't smile too much or has this serious look on him while playing but anyone can see the joy and happiness in him when he scores.

Great post

i dunno but hazard doesnt looked happy when he play. doesn't smile much

felt like if mata is in the team, hes never gonna outshine mata.

Mate you are being paranoid I think.

That's just Eden's personality imo, being cool it is. And you have to deliver qualities on the pitch and a pretty face to match that coolness otherwise you will look like a fool. Can you imagine Rio Ferdinand put on that serious, cool face? It would be a mega fail.

I expect next year to be his big break-through and huge improvement.

It's his first year in a real club.

When you look at Mata, he came from Spain, played in a good club with Valencia and had the habit to play in a organised team.

I didn't like the way Lille played and didn't rate that much Garcia (you only have to look at his european record against team well organised and that can play with the ball to see that he's not a really good coach).

I think he would have improved much more with Puel in his all-around game.

Hazard is the only player in the team this season to have played in every game - 29 games, started 25 and came on as a sub in the other 4 matches.

Still not very good for some *cough* @Henrique *cough*...

Hazard is hitting good form again. Hope it continues, he's so great to watch and it always makes me grin how other teams would kill for him (And how Kagawa has done nothing lol) :D

Kagawa has been injured but there is no doutbing kagawa's talent.Brilliant player he is and will have more of an impact as he settles in the manu team.

Erm wtf? Garcia is a phenomenal coach. You know he took Lille, not one of the great powerhouses in French football, to a historical double? Besides he was able to guide them to consecutive champions league qualifications. He did a tremendous job at Lille.

Plus, he made Lille the most entertaining teams to watch in the French league and has had a profound impact on the development of several players. Look at the players Lille delivered to other top leagues the last years. And even now a great talent in Digne is establishing himself.

It's very opportunistic evaluating him on his CL-campaigns. Last season, despite losing Cabaye and Rami, Lille were actually the 2nd best team in their group after Inter but had an incredible amount of bad luck converting their domination into goals. This season Lille has been disappointing, but then again, look at the players they lost. They're rebuilding this season and now have a great new stadium that should propel them into competing for CL-qualification every season.

You didn't like the way Lille played is really an astonishing comment. They've been dubbed 'Le Barça du Nord' the last seasons and had everyone praising their marvelous style.

What marvelous style. Being trashed at Valencia, Liverpool when they couldn't even make 3 passes.

Their 50-100 passes between their central defenders and the goalkeeper.

Balmont Debuchy running into blind alley on the right side.

Scoring very few goals in the first half. Mavuba who plays often more like a third central defender and is very bad to pass the ball forward.

Very few play in the central midfield, no link-up play between their three midfielders.

Well, They've beaten the poor and average sides but due to individual performances of their attacking players. When they scored thei first goal and the opponents had to give more space there was good play but before that it often was a stalemate.

Mancini has won trophies but I don't rate him as a great coach.
