Wow only 4 assists thats piss poor should be upto double figures

To be fair in this current set up he is more about unlocking than providing actual final ball assists. Thats more a pedro role. Hell...I think even Matic has more assists than Hazard.

Willian only having 1 assist is horrific though.

2014/15 Hazard had 14 goals and 9 assists in prem so interesting to see if he betters those come the end of season(hopefully smashes them)ps Matic has 6 assists.

So are Willian and Moses.

Fabregas (despite hardly playing much) and Pedro have 7 assists each.

Fabregas has sick stats this season in a attacking sense for gametime, thought Moses would have had afew more to his name tbo , just hope Hazard + co up there stats for the final push!:drunk:

It annoys me when people look at assists and take that as face-value. Hazard has created so much chances where strikers miss sitters. Against West Ham the other night at London stadium, he created an easy chance for Costa which he fluffed. He also then done another brilliant piece of creativity for Costa which was excellently saved by Randolph. Matic might have more assists than him and Costa but truth is Hazard has created much more chances but the stats do not tell the story. Can guarantee you Hazard is leading our charts for most chances created and is prob in ranking in premiership.

Statistics the death of football. Everything is so over analysed these days,  football has been taken over by trainspotters who have too much time on their hands who come out with this meaningless bollocks. If you were in the boozer with a mate and started talking about Chelsea (not pointing you out Wes I mean all fans)  would you say '' Did you know that Eden Hazard has a dribble completion rate of 78% while Silva's is 69%''. I know I'm old school but modern day football has become obsessed with this sort of nonsense.

Not a question about the Real Madrid interest but it does have a connection to it...

WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF LIVING WHEN YOU FINISH PLAYING FOOTBALL?

I don’t know, it’s hard to say. Maybe I will live in Belgium, to be close to the family, or else I could go somewhere with nice weather. My kids are very settled in London so it could be here, that’s a long way off yet so we will see.

According to this report hazard seems really settled  with life in London

It's only been five bloody years since he moved to London. It'd take less than a few hours for him to get home as well. Europeans don't understand living far from home.

Him and Courtois signing a new contract next season is as important as any transfer we'll make. Hearing good news on both ends though, which is good. Would truly help us cement our status as a super club, coupled with the right signings of course.
