I completely agree. With a coach like Mou: no more complacency. We belgians rely on individuality. It goes good for 20 minutes. Then we get a bummer goal (thanks Naingollan) and shit falls apart. No leadership. It is clear to me Eden really needs a strong coach.

But more so: that entire team of young talent no longer needs a motivator like Wilmots. Now they need someone to weld that team into a tactical tank.

That is what Mou does. He does that brilliantly.

Its the dark side, but we cannot only have romantic bullshit. Not only. We can dream though but in the end a team has to be perform. Belgium tried and pushed a lot, but got outsmarted by that goal. They failed at something Fellaini surely would have done.

I think Eden indeed needs to put up his game. No more altruism galore. He can, if he would.

I watched the entire match. I'm sorry that was the most frustrating match ever. I don't know how every Belgium fan didn't throw a chair at their TV. Wilmots has been there for so long, wtf has he actually done football wise? Do they realize they have fucking HAZARD on their team? One of the best players in the world and they almost play like they are purposely trying to ignore him. This team should have been built around Eden and should have been a well-oiled machine by now. Instead, it seems like the only real discernible tactic they have is to launch balls to Fellaini and without him, it looked like it was the first time they were playing with each other. watching game i thought I could do at least the same job as Wilmots - do million crosses and pray. It's sad for Belgium because for few minutes in first and second half where they speed it up they were looking likee top class. Few minutes only..
