CHOULO19 24,332
Our midfield would get run over.Definitely agree, we can't start with that. But it's actually not a bad shot if are ever chacing a game. But it woud probably be more like:MikelHulk-Mata-Hazard-MarinTorres

Ramires can't link-up between the defense and attack because his passing is shocking. Unless we play 4-3-3 I don't want to see Ramires in the center.Moving back on topic, when will we know what number was he given?

RamiCFC9 258
Shame that Ash is getting old , Hazard(at the age of 25~) and Cole(at his best) would've been the best left flank in history.

It's too top-heavy and that midfield will get overrun with Mikel being the only midfielder who protects the back 4.

It's too top-heavy and that midfield will get overrun with Mikel being the only midfielder who protects the back 4.I'm not saying to play it against Arsenal, but against teams who park the bus at the bridge I sure Mikel and the back four will be okay versus a lone striker. As I said it could be a good plan B to try if we want a goal in the last 20 mins or so of the match.
RamiCFC9 258
If its Mata or Hazard behind the striker, I think it is a no-brainer.Mata should definitely start there because he already has 1 massively succesful season in PL and also if we compare Mata to Hazard on the wings, Eden is far better. Get your point but not convinced by it unless the FBs take turn to push forward. Can't just go all gung-ho even if it's against the smaller teams. As I said it could be a good plan B to try if we want a goal in the last 20 mins or so of the match.Fair enough. Would agree with that!

Pharaoh 12
Wouldn't you guys play a 4-2-1-3? My assumption is that if you guys do get HulkRamires - Essien HazardHulk - Torres - MataPlaying a 4-2-3-1 would work just the same, but its pretty much the same thing i posted but having the wingers play back a little more. Anybody have any idea what number he's gonna be wearing? My guess is that he'll take 11 since Drogba is on his way out.

Forcing him to stay on one side of the field would be a horrible idea, he'd be so limited and contained.
bushman 2,043
The Duke of Hazard = Number 1 in my books. The most talented young player coming to Chelsea in several years.

Nic! 301
Fellaini is not that good, his passing is always simple (but credit to him, he's precise) and he's very slow. Can do a lot of things at Everton but would struggle to gain a place in a big clubFor being slow and not being able to keep up with the pace, he sure ripped England's midfield apart. Which might say more about England, than about Fellaini. I don't know.
