They won't be pushing any youth players through once he leaves as well.

Not at all. Everyone expected an easy 3rd or 4th. No one expected pool to be fighting for the title and that is over- acheieving.

Plus this might mean they get a manager who has the balls and intelligence to spend in the market fee and get players while changing their style of play.

Infact it just goes deeper than simply buying players or even results. This arsenal team has no character. No fight, no passion. I mean everyone simply accepted this for a fact that arsenal will choke sooner or later and they dint disappoint. Add to that the mental block they have against big teams and wenger's amateurish tactocs to try and play a particular brand of football regardless of the opposition and it simply is not something I personally would want to change.

Can't see how a new manager with a decent budget would be any worse than what wenger has been.
