Hulk

In the end, we will play

Ramires-Mikel

Hazard-Oscar-Mata

Torres

In case we play bad, there comes winter and we buy Hulk then.

The point is that Rambo was one of best players and we cant just bench him. As much Hulk would be welcomed here, that would also mean bench for Oscar or Rambo. The good point is that Oscar can play on his position, but question is how will Mata and Hazard react to that...

And you leave out Lampard? Absolute madness, he is going to be a starter, especially in a double pivot.

Oh and not sure Ramires is suitable for the position you've specified. Would sooner play him RB than as deep lying midfielder.

Well Lampard will rotate with Rambo or this;

Mikel-Lamps(Oscar)

Rambo-Mata-Hazard

Torres

But here Oscar wouldnt play his prefered position...

I think Moutinho played out wide for Portugal a few times during Euro 2012. I agree. Bolding words makes everything seem more manly.

No Moutinho didn't. Oscar has played on the right before, however I do agree with you he shouldn't be considered an option there. Oscar at wide right is only a possibility in instances similar to when Bosingwa is asked to play CB.

Has he played there? Yeah. Can he be servicable there sometimes. Sure. First choice there? Hell no.

Who is better than Oscar in that position in our current squad?

I think there's a strong possibility that he'll sign during or right after the Olympics, we just need to get patient which is annoying as fuck, at least Hazard left some clues when he had made up his mind and knew where he'll end up... Thank heavens that his saga didn't last this long.

Everyday brings a new twist in the Hulk saga. It indeed has become a saga. From being an almost done deal, it has come to a no deal. The saga has taken a new turn.

The latest news is that, even though Hulk wants to join Chelsea, an open secret, Porto are more interested in selling him to PSG. That bit of news was reported by Portugal’s ‘Diário de Notícias’.

However, the latest on Hulk is not up on the DN website yet. Other media such as twitter (Paulo Freitas, Sky Sports Correspondent) and A Bola have reported the same. So one is inclined to believe the news.

On the bright side, now it would be clear to many a skeptic fan, that Hulk indeed wants to join Chelsea. At least now, the blame can be shifted from Hulk to Porto.

On the down side, Porto are facing a severe financial crunch. The DN had reported recently that the Porto basketball team was disbanded owing to the lack of funds. Many players have not been paid their salaries.

From Porto’s point of view, selling Hulk to PSG would make more sense in terms of finances. Although, Hulk is reluctant to go to PSG. In the past interviews, Hulk had stated that he wants to be a starter in the Brazilian national team. For that to happen, he needs to play in a top league, like the EPL, and play in a top team, preferably a team that competes in the Champions League.

At the moment, it seems to be a tug of war between Hulk and Porto. The worst case scenario would be for Hulk to stay at Porto. Porto well and truly know, Hulk’s potential suitors may not come back for him in the next season. So it is now or never for them.

So Porto just waitng for bigger offers. Fair enough for them i think, when we see PSG spending like that. But its not "fair enough" for them if Hulk said he dont want to join PSG and he wants to join Chelsea. In this case they are twats, let him make the move!

I remain optimistic about this. PSG have Nene, Lavezzi, Menez, Pastore as attacking midfielders, and Zlatan as a striker, cant see them go for Hulk as well, espeicaly not for 40m+.

What does that mean, receive 75% before the deal is concluded?! What if the deal fell through?

This looks like an ongoing one. Will be final day of the transfer window and we will still be going will he wont he... In my mind i am thinking that porto are trying to use the olympics to get more money,,, as in he will score a lot for brazil then porto will try and raise the asking price to like 50 mil.

I think this will happen, eventually, on the basis that the player wants Chelsea and Porto need to sell. Hazard, Marin, potentially Hulk and Oscar - would be our best ever transfer window!
