Forgive me if im wrong because i got it from some shitty site, but i heard at the age of 14 he nearly got let go because off poor performances at DM?

I don't think he has done that well at DM, apart from the first time in the CWC which in turn got his performances there over hyped. As a centre half he has a few rough edges but imo that is his best position.

I think he is much better at DM, his runs are not so unprotrected in midfield....

If you are right then we need to buy world class defenders, because aside from Terry, David was the best prospect in the squad.
