eldo 868
Walker is decent, not a liability. Bosingwa is, Walker isn't. And Jones is decent too, a bit rough, but has potential.Walker=Bosingwa Melanicus and Tomo
CHOULO19 24,332
Walker=BosingwaThe similarity in their playing style (if you can call it a style) is uncanny. All speed and no brain. Tomo
francozola 2,040
What i find funny is the media bash David Luiz yet hail the likes of Phil Jones, Johnny Evans, Leighton Baines, Rafeal, Kyle Walker, Glen Johnson and co are hailed as second coming's of crist when there all absolute dross.Absolutely. There was an incident on Saturday when Luiz did an okay job in defending when he got in front of their striker and sheparded the ball out for a goal kick and Tony Gale claimed it was "suicidal defending". I couldn't fucking believe it! I turned to my dad and said that if that was Phil Jones, that piece of defending would have been applauded, Jones described as Masterful, one who shows such Poise and Maturity well beyond his years. bababoom 4,478
But I would rather see this young man, who is talented and full of effort and endeavour, battle for 90 minutes than see others wait for the next manager to get sacked.I agree. Tomo 21,751
Walker=Bosingwa never thought of it like that but you're right.Walker (just like Bosingwa in his first season with us) is conning everyone into thinking he is great because he can run in a straight line down the wing. Tomo 21,751
Outside the sports direct place in my town take 3 guesses who are modeling the new England kits outside? Joe Hart, Darren Bent and Kyle Walker Joe fair enough but what have the other 2 done in England shirts?
francozola 2,040
I detest listening to Gale ,,fucking average ex spammer who is always anti chelseaAgree. He is the most biased out of the lot. He simply can't stop going on and on about Luiz.
Slam Dunk 1,442
Because I believe he'll cave to the whole "Luiz can't defend" train. I hope I'm wrong though!Haha. I've never shied away from the fact that I'm part of that group. I'll admit his reading of the league and the game in general has come on hugely since he's been here, but he's not a great defender. He is a brilliant footballer however. But he needs to be playing, simply because without him in the team, we have absolutely no drive from the back/midfield. And, with JT out we simply have no other options in defence. If we want defensive stability, Cahill and Luiz need to be playing together to gain some kind of partnership. Their communication at the moment isn't great and it will only get better with games.
bababoom 4,478
I do think most of the pundits underrate Luiz, they mostly just jump on the bandwagon... although he get's overrated here i feel, some people refuse to blame him for his mistakes, also when he had an okay game (no mistakes) people say he has a great game. Now don't get me wrong i rate him so highly, he has the potential to be great, i just think SOME people on here rate him a bit too highly. Henrique 9,133
I like his hair and he is a good character, but I hope next manager will know what to with this guy, he is not a CB at all.
Blue Armour 4,439
I like his hair and he is a good character, but I hope next manager will know what to with this guy, he is not a CB at all.Yesterday he changed his game a bit. He took less risks and actually took the ball out of play, rather than hold onto it when under pressure.
francozola 2,040
He's been doing that for a few months now. I can't remember which game it was but it was immediately after he made a bad mistake in the previous one. The change was extremely noticeable in that game. Ever since then he's been trying to do the simple things more often.

Popular Post! manpe 10,861 Posted March 7, 2012 Popular Post! Share Posted March 7, 2012 He is currently my favourite player, He ALWAYS gives his all. Whenever I watch a game on Russian stream, the commentator constantly says that "Luiz is the only one who turned up today", as was the case with last game too.. and I agree, even if we play shit, he's the man you can see trying the most. He is an exceptional personality - I love personality in football, that's why I can't stand cunts like Pepe even though he is a world class defender. lecter, BleedsBlue, BlueLion. and 6 others
CHOULO19 24,332
I hope that today's game proved that he should not be played at RB, or any other place except his natural centerhalf position. Tomo and Madmax
Kieran. 6,317
To be fair, he was thrown out there in less-than-normal circumstances. So while I prefer him as a CB, I'll wait to judge him.
5354 204
RB for him is just not natural. His positioning at RB is weird. He jogs slowly(with his back to the ball) to the touchline when the one in midfield wanted to pass to him. Since he was right footed, there was no way he could cut in and cross with the right.I think LB or CB is a better position for him.
