I'm actually rooting for this transfer. He was great in midfield together with Matic and he was a fantastic centreback during the Benitez era. Memories really do grow sweeter with time don't they...

Anyways, how has he performed over the past few seasons? Consistency, defensive lapses....has anyone followed PSG that closely?

When there are mixed messages (e.g. with the Lukaku saga and now this), it's sometimes difficult to discern the reliability of Chelsea rumours because there aren't (m)any truly ITK journalists associated with this club (unlike with others). I mean some journalists do have exclusives every now and again, and Matt Law is probably our best bet but even he often speculates and regurgitates a lot of what is already out there.

Enough of relying on journalists working for the other team. Give us our own reliable network of ITKs from which we can gather transfer leaks, Chelsea!

Funny thing is I'd take him. Says enough about Chelsea's (centre) defence.

When it's all said and done this is the situation at present. We're stretched in defence and with no other attainable targets, attributing for the club's commercial objectives also, this seems the only avenue the club is left with. At least we made a £20m profit  (or rather PSG made a £20m loss)

Yup.

About that last part. In this scenario he was bought for 21.5 mil pounds, sold for 40 mil (only English media speak of a 50 mil transfer, whereas the rest speak of 50 mil euros), bought again for 32 mil.

To think David Luiz would be the defender to command the highest total amount in transfer fees.

The fact there is nothing on the BBC website (as one would expect if total legit) and that Sky is the ONLY source seemingly running it, I gotta call bs. But would be nice to see him back, would still have a profit, and with his personality he would be a more attainable target for a transfer day dealing.

Than Sky? Lol.

no, more than jim

Although sky really aren't that reliable these days. They very rarely break any news anymore.

A lot of the time someone like di marzio will break a story then an hour later sky will say "sky sources understand"
