The most important part is that tweet. It's buried in about paragraph 8, almost as if it's a side note of disappointment to the football media.

The main headline? The people working on a £4.25bn sale are getting rewarded with a handsome bonus, as if this isn't the norm on a deal as big as this. Oh how dare they!
