So true! It's not that I'm bothering too much about it because the media are not all over that perception but just get a little bit twitchy now when I hear them saying that!

Robben and Messi missing penalties, both Barca and Bayern hitting posts, etc.

Much of it was down to tactical shrewdness, but there were certainly elements of fortune.

Take Messi hitting the post and missing a penalty, among countless other squandered Barca chances. Gomez, Ribery and Robben all faied to somehow score, before we got our first corner after 88 minutes. We nearly went four goals down at Napoli were it not for Cole's goal-line clearance.
