Is Kalou a legend? No. But he played more than 250 games for us, scored over 60 goals and registered 40 assists. It's not the most outstanding of records, but for a player who operated out wide, and was mainly used as a substitute, he didn't do too bad for us. And I've seen worse honours lists:

• Premier League (1): 2009–10
• FA Cup (4): 2006–07, 2008–09, 2009–10, 2011–12
• Football League Cup (1): 2006–07
• FA Community Shield (1): 2009
• UEFA Champions League (1): 2011–12

So, whilst he's not a legend, I'd certainly consider him a Chelsea hero, or icon, as he was part of the team in Munich. I doubt he'll be forgotten easily, even if he is one of the least glamorous members of that squad. He did alright.
