Severinb 309
The daily mail article also says we are offering essien and malouda new contracts WTF?!why malouda!!!
JuanMata10 1
So it is true, really is leaving...or did they release him?
capriccioso 2,545
Fucks sake . If you are leaving, please go to Feyenoord where I can continue to support you without any guilty feelings.Giving Malouda and Essien new contracts ahead of Salomon verges on criminal. He's by far better than either.Someone said they were going to host a party when Kalou leaves
Wavy Crockett 190
thank you Kalou for your services to the clubI hope there will be a real overhaul this summer to justify his leaving because as Cap says keeping Essien and Malouda ahead of Kalou is downright criminal..I think we should be more concerned with selling Ferreira too and either Turnbull or Hilário. Mikel and even Meireles could be sold for a hefty price..
capriccioso 2,545
Mikel is a brilliant player and cannot be sold. Meireles falls in the Kalou bracket of useful but not quite good enough to play 40+ games a season.
Shane 2,275
Frustrating player, But for a player that was mostly on the bench and did what he did, he didn't bitch and moan. Scored vital goals, made goals and was a livewire whenever he was on.Thanks for the memories Kalouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu. Kostas 1,468
The daily mail article also says we are offering essien and malouda new contracts WTF?!why malouda!!!Struggling to believe we'd give Essien a new contract unless it's on vastly reduced wages. CHOULO19 24,332
No way would we get rid of Kalou ahead of Malouda unless his wage is much higher. I'm having a hard time believing that Mail story.
capriccioso 2,545
What is most baffling is Essien, The beloved Bison is clearly past it, sadly. I can't believe he would get a new deal, when his present deal doesn't expire for a couple of years; that too ahead of better players like Kalou, Malouda and even Bosingwa. Injuries have sapped him so far now that he's a liability on the pitch. Best to let him go as he will be remembered as one of the greatest midfielders of his time and the passage of time may even cloud the perception today that he was a passenger in this CL triumph. In 10 years time people will probably have duped themselves into thinking he was integral because of his reputation and past performances. If he likes Mickey Mouse, he'll be delighted to win the Mickey Mouse Cups
KonohasOrangeFlash 2,607
Well either way Kalou had to go sooner or later. We can now use Marin more and KDB more.
