Despite everything that is going on the stock market is close to all the time highs. As far as NASDAQ that is.

So much for the pandemic causing havoc.....

That's why I said in your 401k when ever there's a big sell of, you just get excited because you can buy at lower prices. Giving that markets will continue to go up in the long run. It can always pull back 30 to 50 percent lower from the highs, but it will not be go to 0.

401K is less of a perk if the rest of the economy is so shit companies are no longer offering matching.

Kim Kardashian to pay medical bills of protester left horrifically disfigured after being shot

Kim Kardashian offers to pay medical bills of protester left horrifically disfigured after being shot with a rubber bullet by police

Kim Kardashian has generously offered to help a protester who was seriously injured by a rubber bullet over the weekend.

The 39-year-old reality star was shocked to see a trending photo on Twitter showing a woman who was shot while standing in the street filming during a George Floyd protest in Louisville, Kentucky.

The graphic image shows a young woman with a chunk of flesh missing from her forehead and her left eye bruised and swollen shut.

BREAKING: Trump tried to register to vote in Florida using an out-of-state address, according to Florida elections records.

In other words, attempted voter fraud.

President Trump tried to register to vote in Florida using an out-of-state address

https://www.washingtonpost.com/lifestyle/style/president-trump-tried-to-register-to-vote-in-florida-using-an-out-of-state-address/2020/06/03/687d0014-a4f2-11ea-b473-04905b1af82b_story.html

President Trump originally tried to register to vote in Florida while claiming his “legal residence” was in another part of the country — Washington, D.C. — according to Florida elections records.

The September 2019 registration application listed Trump’s legal residence as 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. NW, the location of the White House. That created a potential problem for Trump: Florida law requires voters to be legal residents of the state. A month later, Trump resubmitted his application to use a Florida address and in March he voted by mail in Florida’s Republican primary.

The revisions complicate Trump’s own record as a voter at a time when the president has made unsubstantiated claims of widespread fraud in mail-in balloting.

Trump’s original voter-registration application, which was obtained by The Washington Post via a public records request, was filed during a time when the president was making a highly publicized move to change his permanent residence from his Manhattan penthouse to Mar-a-Lago, his private club in Palm Beach, Fla.

The voter application is dated Sept. 27, 2019 — the same day that Trump made the domicile change. On one of his forms that day he was telling Florida officials that his “legal residence” was Washington, D.C., and on another he was saying he was a “bona fide resident” of Palm Beach.

Florida voter-registration applicants are warned on registration forms that they may be subject to fines and even prison time if they do not provide truthful information.

There has been at least one recent instance in Florida in which a public official faced legal consequences for registering to vote at an address that was not her legal residence. Last year, the city manager of Deltona, Fl., entered into an agreement with the local state’s attorney’s office to pay more than $5,000 in fees and reimbursements for the state’s investigation to avoid being prosecuted on criminal charges in a voter-registration case. She had registered to vote using the address of Deltona’s City Hall, rather than her home address, and had cast ballots in elections using that registration.

In Palm Beach, where Trump has registered to vote, there was a high-profile arrest in 1993 of a popular restaurateur who was charged with voter fraud and briefly jailed because he registered to vote in Palm Beach but lived in the neighboring city of West Palm Beach. A felony charge in the case was eventually dropped.

A month passed before Trump filed the second voter registration application, this time listing 1100 S. Ocean Blvd., Palm Beach — the address of Mar-a-Lago — as his legal residence. There also was another difference: Trump’s original voter-registration directed election officials to send his registration materials to Mar-a-Lago in care of another person — Sean McCabe, a vice president and general manager of Trump Florida Properties in the neighboring city of West Palm Beach. (McCabe’s first name — Shawn — is misspelled.)

So it seems that Maddie Mccann was raped and murdered by a German, who used to live in Portugal in the same City where Maddie was kidnapped.
That guy raped an old lady in that same City one year after and he also sexually abused other children. So it seems very likely that the guy did it. Horrible death if true. R.I.P.
I was 9 years old when she was kidnapped. Always felt sorry for her.

Yeah it sucks if company does not match, but hey what can you do.

You need to plan for the future and for your family. If you have kids you can always open an account for them and put some monthly flows in there if you can....Because I know not many people make enough for a living. But if you have say like 50 bucks or 100 a month extra you can always put that in. It would add up in 20 to 30 years.

Our young generation is not thought to save and what not like the older generation. But it is never too late to start learning.

Anyhow this bounce in the market is the same reason why in the long run it pays to buy. Anytime there's a major sell of, it never stays down, nor goes to 0....well that is the index like NASDAQ, Dow Jones and what not because company can go bankrupt. But the index is a good investment in the long run.

This graph gives the perfect illustration of long term investment in the index Dow Jones:

I do, but that is short term for speculation.

For long term is best to put in a fund that is made up of index of NASDAQ, Dow Jones, or S & P.

Or you can just buy the ETF, the index have their own ETF and you can just buy them for long term as well.

For short term stocks is good, for long term index are the best because they don't go bankrupt or go to 0.

Do you think it's a good time to buy Carnival and Royal Caribbean stocks right now? They are really down.

The time to buy those stocks was in April. Now you will be chasing.

That is for short term gain and speculation.

If you think in 10 years from now Royal Caribbean will be roaring then yes.

That's the thing about stocks I'm more for short term, for long term who knows. The stocks that where the go to in the 1990's might not be as in favor today.

That's why for long term I just stick to S &P, NASDAQ, and Dow Jones. Via etf, or funds to invest in these index. That way the average investor just have to worry about the market and not every stock and such.
