termninja 5,290
RVP deserved it more or less...he's been amazing for Arse this season...as for Walker...he's done well for Tottenham also and impressed me though lots of people here look at him as a younger version of Bosingwa...we'll see what he'll be in a couple of years but my guess is a great right back. LDN Blue 7,903
They both deserve. We can say what we want about Walker's abilities, but it's good to see a young kid breaking through and showing others that they are capable of doing so in top clubs. Spike 12,049
A Club shouldn't win an award meant for players. If you know what I mean.

Tomo 21,751
someone tell me because i am struggling to understand, what would Walker be without pace? Some of the PFA decision's are unbelievable.
Kojo 4,676
LMFAO KYLE WALKER WON THAT............. LOLOLOLOLOLOLyeah i suppose making costly defensive mistakes and being a right back version of theo walcott just using your pace to burst forward is truly amazing. Damn, what's next?, Shit even Heskey deserved the young player more than Walker and he's 34.

If this kid was from Romania or Russia or Italy or where ever he wouldn't of got it i bet you any money on it. Even just young players like Sturridge of Welbeck deserve it more. I don't care if Sturridge has had some dissapointments recently, because Walker has been costing Tottenham 24/7.Fucking joke of awards, Van Persie's was well deserved though without doubt. Kojo 4,676
Just realised Walker got picked over Aguero.................so laughableWalker hasn't had one good game since 2011, he got man of the match against us for doing fuck all aswell.Any defender who can just let a player slip like this, is just stupid, infact not even a defender anyone. He has practically run infront of you and you just stand there and then realise half an hour later.

Not to mention the fact he makes Bosingwa look like Maicon.

He definitely doesn't deserve it over Aguero, but at the same time, props to him for breaking through the Tottenham squad and becoming an England senior. Tomo 21,751
2009 the PFA decide they have a touch of nostalgia and give the award to Ryan Giggs.2010 Wayne Rooney get's the award over Drogba despite the fact Drogba outscored Rooney with 2 major obstacle's Rooney didn't face (wansn't first choice spot kick taker and was at ACON for a month).2011 Bale gets the award, based on what? 2 good games in Europe. Now this year they top the lot by giving the young player award to a defender who can't defend, who's going to win it next year Glen Johnson?Only in this country. Bir_CFC 3,455
RVP, well deserved. But how does Walker win it over Aguero, let alone get shortlisted over Mata? What is the judging criteria? Surely there has to be some explanation. And I don't understand how Parker makes PFA team of the year. Didn't we suck enough Parker dick last year, sheesh. capriccioso 2,545
Fair enough. He's been outstanding for Arsenal so far and a key reason as to why they're 3rd and not 13th.
coolhead23 1,147
I dont think there was anyone other than RVP who has managed to pull out his team single handedly from being the shame of the season to being atleast respectful.

Madmax 9,219
The fact that Juan Mata doesn't even make the shortlist for POTY renders this award meaningless and little more than farcical.
capriccioso 2,545
Manager of the Year is an even worse sham than PFA Footballer of the Year. Invariably it goes to the winner of the PL, if there's any justice it should go to Pardew. What he has done at Newcastle has been nothing short of remarkable, and had we been 3rd or better I would be rooting for them to finish 4th. Madmax 9,219
We are not even 4th and he has been really up and down this seasonWhen you compare Mata's exclusion to those included - Hart, Silva, Rooney, Bale, Parker, Persie, Aguero - everyone else plays in a higher-placed team. League position in itself is irrelevant but the rest of the nominees benefit from having better players around them than Mata does, with the possible exception of Persie. In regards form itself, what have Bale, Silva and Parker done for the last couple of months? Where would Rooney be without all those obligatory penalties Man Utd get awarded?6 goals, 11 assists for Mata - criminally ignored, just like the contributions of Krul, Vorm, Holt, Ba.
