another move I really question was Draxler on and not Sarabia, who has been brilliant in mutiple games I have watched him thsi year

Sarabia was tracking to 24 goals and 14 or so assists or so over a full seasons minutes

Draxler is not at all a poor, player, he himself produced 7 goals and 6 assists in only 1100 minutes, but still, Sarabia is the better player, more likely to set up a goal or score one

strange subs

goofy players and Bayern are not usually in the same sentence, but it is very true
they have almost no player who you would put into the 'pure prick' category
Manuel Neuer at times, but even he not an ogre, at least IMHO, I am sure many will disagree
he is just very entitled, which, at his level, you can afford to be

Maybe goofy is the wrong word. I mean players that are funny and more outgoing, making jokes all the time. When you watch some of the Bayern videos, all players are happy, making jokes and you can see they have fun. Just like our Mason Mount.

But guys like Mou and Conte need soldiers.
Conte needs players that want to die for him.
But this Bayern group is not like that. They want to have fun and coaches like Mou are not good for their creativity on the pitch. They want to be more free.

I think Neuer is alright. The only player maybe that might be a prick is kimmich, but that is only because he is very arrogant during interviews, or at least this is how I interpret his interviews.

Kimmich would be close to the top of first players I would grab off that team though

fucking love him as a player, and he only turned 25 six months ago, seems like he has been around for 10 years

Hansi Flick is just loved by the players. He gives those Jupp Heynckes vibes because he is just a loveable guy. I think that Bayern players like those type of coaches more than the more strict coaches.

They had problem with Ancelotti though who is known to be more of a man manager rather than a tactician.

Problem with Ancelotti was that his training methods didn't have any intensity. It was all too relaxed.

Think Conte has the bond with his players but he just ends up destroying that through his unsavory, off-putting antics.

I hope people now realise he was the one at fault, not Costa back then.

Haha mine too. That was the first season I actualy watched every single game of the season. Used to watch it on tv whatever PL game they shown (CL games, it was almost always Chelsea, so that wasnt a problem haha), but then I got involved and found streams to watch on laptop, so I could see my favourite team every weekend😁

That thrashing of Wigan on final day, I remember it like yesterday 🥰

the only real issue i had was that Conte did 2 thinsg wrong, and it was from the same act

1 He tipped the board's hand too early

2 he did it via fucking SMS, which is how 16 year olds break up in public school (or did for years, now they probably make a TikTok video, lolol)

I never brought myself to watch a game that was already played. Either I watched it in real time, or if I didnt have time, I just checked results and highlights.

The only exception is against Pool in 2018, when we won 1:0. I couldnt watch it, so I recorded it on tv and restrained myself from checking any result, so I watched it in the evening like it was live😄

The last month/two was an amazing watch but we got so complacent when we had room for error which in my mind counts against them when comparing to our other title sides. Whenever we started a match knowing we'd be top after regardless we always dropped points, a wins a win but we shouldn't have let that get to the final matchday.

Compare that to the other title sides who ruthlessly gobbled up any chances to extend the lead and eventually won with games to spare.

I see...I used to watch many games in the past, nowdays there is no time for that.

I mostly follow PL, CL, EL after final 16 and certain teams from Spa, Fra, Ita, Ger whenever there's time.

Talk about scouting, I will never forget Robertson though 😄 it was Scotland:Slovenia and he still played for Hull, back when he had 0 recognition and I was like this dude will be great one day...😄 friends thought I was trolling or something, few years later he is best LB in the world and plays for fucking Poo.

Because they fail to create a team rather than a group of people.

The only reason city was getting away with league titles was their insane depth and no competition. Once Liverpool got better, they were no match. Now with Chelsea and United rising, it will be only harder for City.

I am not sure you can say that when they finished with 98 and 100 points.

Congrats to Bayern for winning the Champions League, totally deserved, PSG only have themselves to blame, they missed so many chances and when you don't convert them against Bayern, they will punish you eventually. Lewandowski and Coutinho have finally won the CL
