Got to give Wenger respect for what he achieved in his first few years at Arsenal, but he's the classic example of staying too long at one club. The board were too comfortable just qualifying for the CL and their lack of ambition means that the eventual transition will be much harder than it would have been a few years ago.

I think arsenal problem is in the transfer market. Not really sure who is responsible for it. They keep trying to sign cheaper player without ever signing big time player. Arsenal was lucky that henry, viera , etc became such super player. If they don't then you need to buy star player to improve your team otherwise You will be stuck in the same level
