only yedder would entertain such prospect of playing as a back up striker...last season lenglet was massive and sensational for Sevilla but right from his.move to Barcelona...he has impressed that much and due to availability of world clasd ball playing centre backs i wil take over him...

Rogmanoli...

Militao(Madrid bound)

De Light

Skriniar...

Gimenez...

oh for SURE I would take any of those over him!

You listed most of my favourite CB targets! LOLOL

add

Koulibaly (pipe dream, sob)

Lucas Hernández (but would use him to bench the disastrous Alonso) but probalem going to Bayern

Dayot Upamecano

Manuel Akanji (as long as he fully recovers)

Rúben Dias

bonus youth buy(s) (buys if AC bails)

Evan N'Dicka or Jordan Torunarigha or Dan-Axel Zagadou or Ibrahima Konaté or Felix Uduokhai based on potential

We missed out on my number one NON DE LIGT sub 20yo CB when Barca grabbed Jean-Clair Todibo

finally, absolutely would not lose my mind if we bought Nathan Aké back, I think he is really class

many Chels punters would be going crazy to grab him if he had never been here (grass is greener syndrome)

Thierry Henry sacked by Monaco

http://www.stuff.co.nz/dominion-post/sport/football/110186392/

Monaco have re-hired title-winning coach Leonardo Jardim three months after dismissing him to make way for Thierry Henry

Monaco fired Thierry Henry and re-hired title-winning coach Leonardo Jardim on Friday, three months after sacking him to make way for the France great.

Henry won four of 20 matches after replacing Jardim in mid-October, leaving the club second from bottom in the French league ahead of Saturday's trip to fellow struggler Dijon.

"Thierry Henry is a football legend but unfavorable circumstances, and especially the number of injured players, did not allow him to quickly and efficiently get the team out of this crisis,'' Monaco vice-president Vadim Vasilyev said. ``I would like to thank Thierry for taking up this challenge and for having tried to lead the team where he first started [as a player].''

Why do you not want him here if he was so good at his job?

you reading too much into my comments

I only said he was possibly going to be scapegoated (which he was)

He bought a lot of potentially great young players, tonnes of them, some of whom may end up being superstars

that MO is fine for Monaco

they will play youth

it wont work here

Emenalo is a mid-level team DoF talent

he was out of his league here

Obviously Monaco board thought it did not work there either.

Monaco, from the owner down, are a corrupt Russian outfit. The owner, one of Roman's buddies, is out of jail on a 10m euro bond on corruption and racketeering charges

So he scapegoated Emenalo because he is corrupt, makes sense. The team is 19th after 21 games.

I have no idea what you are talking about

that is a complete non sequitur

I was simply adding in more background as to how fucked up Monaco is overall

I guess, if you want to psychoanalyse the VP in terms of projection and failure to take responsibility, then perhaps that may be part of it

If/when Rybolovlev  is convicted, the club may be seized anyway.

he is probably going to end up in the global Trump/Putin meat-grinder, which is exactly why I hope we are sold soon, as Roman is Russian oligarch target number one globally.

more background

Rybolovlev's Rules

A Russian Billionaire's Monaco Fiefdom

In 2011, a Russian billionaire set out to rescue the ailing AS Monaco football club. He invested in top players and invited government, police and justice officials to matches. He handed out both gifts and jobs. Last week, however, Dmitry Rybolovlev was charged with corruption.

Well I hope Emenalo finds an honest boss soon.

Maybe then he can keep his job after the team collects 15 points in 21 games.

Henry didn't help matters. Poor poor manager tactically from what I saw. Didn't really watch enough to give you a complete breakdown
