A bit unfair. He is the much needed spark in Real Madrid's attack and he has many options to his play. He is tall but then again good with his feet, blistering fast, unpredictable as he has more of a free role compared to other players and a winning mentality. I'd have him over Messi, though I know Lionel is statistically over him. Him and Ronaldo are clearly head and shoulders above others. In the current era if anyone else except them two pick up an individual award, it's clearly from mercy.

You're right about people knowing what he will do next - more often than not he scores. :D

I'd pick messi everytime , he can dribble past the entire opposition and score. Ronaldo is more versatile and physically stronger but even though he is damn fast he seldom beats more than one defender if any. They are about equal in terms of finishing,b ut messi is even better creating for himself. Ronaldo is extremely predictable, he will always run into space and looks to shoot, but Messi can also create. While both are not the brightest bulbs in the box, Messi's footballing intelligence is way higher, he can spot mistakes in the defence's positioning and exploit spaces, Ronaldo always takes the obvious run or shot so can always be tracked, admittedly you sometimes still can do nothing about it. Don't get me wrong, I despise Messi as well as Ronaldo as characters but I admire their ability and ronaldo's combination of physical and technical excellence is particularly fascinating, but both are overhyped. These big games in the CL should be where they are rated and both have done fine but nothing as superhuman as the the meida make of them and their crazy scoring records in that shooting gallery league.

What a waste Kagawa has been at Utd, never should have left BVB. He is not made for fast paced, physical games as this one. That is why he is best in the Bundesliga, where he has time and a team set up for him. He was the best player in Germany, his departure handed Bayern the title, but in England he is mediocrity, has done nothing Utd couldn't do without.
