He's a good manager with a great way of playing football, i don't doubt him in the market either.

Here was not the right choice for him, with our board and the players couldn't get on with him. He came here trying to be a very diciplined manager, our players where like 'fuck off you haven't done fuck all to get me working for you'.

AVB is a journalist that thinks he is a good manager. Thats why he wont manage a top club in Europe in next 5 years. Mark my words.

I dont think its the most important thing. I doubt Warrior has the same worlwilde structure Adidas has. I remember when Umbro was doing Chelsea's kits, It was really difficult to find it in brazilians stores, now its a really common one.

Just checked. They've gone from getting £12.5 million a year from Adidas to £25 million from Warrior...That's an extra worldclass player, or 2 first team players for their team. By their accounts it's a very good deal.

Liverpool became a small club, its confirmed by the fact they are no longer with Adidas, but with Warrior Sports.

The kit looks great, but just a small club would change Adidas for a new brand.

It may be a good deal, but it's reasons like this Dalglish is a hilarious mong:

Kenny Dalglish: 'Kit deals and a happy club are as good as points'

RAWK is hilarious. Some dumb Liverpool fan was speculating on who he would want to be their next manager and someone replied:

That's like standing at the side of the road after your parents have been killed in a car crash and getting excited about who your foster parents might be...

:D :D :D

Fair point, but as many have said before, the Warrior deal is pretty much the same thing that Man City have with Etihad. Don't the Liverpool owners also control Warrior?

AVB to Liverpool surely can't happen. SURELY?

Villas-Boas has to have better sense than that . We have a far better squad than theirs and he still couldn't get that passing game to work. If he wants to manage in England, Arsenal is the only way for him.

they begin talks with several high profile managers. Roberto Martinez of Wigan, Paul Lambert of Norwich City, Brendan Rodgers of Swansea and Jurgen Klopp of Borussia Dortmund have all been linked,

LMAO Rodgers, Lambert and Martinez are their high-profile managers?!

The Scouse are stupid beyond words if they think they'll get Klopp, Mourinho or Guardiola.

Rafa is probably the best they can do, and he seems to specialise running clubs into the ground. He started the rot at Liverpool and look what he's done to treble winning Inter Milan. All in all things don't look good for Liverpool FC, especially if UEFA take this FFP stuff seriously. Especially when you consider Rafa has a rubbish record with transfers.

LMAO at the Liverpool fans wanting Mourinho, Guardiola, Bielsa, etc. They're a big club, yes, but with small successes recently, and that will attract neither big-name players or the successful managers.

Their list of candidates is actually a fair reflection of the state of their club. A manager like Martinez, could, over a period of three-four years, actually help rebuild the squad and have them back in top four contention. Right now they are a car crash and are in as much need of an overhaul as us.

Their fans are a deluded lot at times. They want Rafa back like he is some sort of prodigal son, yet they booed him before he left. Furthermore their opinion of him is entirely clouded over by Istanbul.

I mean, just look at all the rubbish he bought. 7 million on Jermaine Pennant and Fernando Morientes? 11.5 million on Babel, 19 million on Robbie Keane, 17 each on Johnson and Aquiliani, 7 million on Dossena.

That's 86 million pounds Liverpool would be better off now. They could have used that in finding a proper replacement for Torres rather than getting Carroll, overhauling the midfield, upgraded Anfield... and the fans get on the owner's cases for those very problems.
