anyone else not want rdm?

I fully accept the right to everyone's differing opinions but if i'm going to be honest Dylan, some of your posts since last night have really wound me up. You're so negative mate!

We're in the fucking Champions League final!!!! And the FA Cup final!!! Give us that two months ago when AVB left and I think people would have thought it was crazy talk. A lot of the credit has to go to RDM, alongside the players, and he deserves an opportunity to carry it on IMO.

For me his lack of experience is perhaps the one glaring weakness, but he's getting that experience as we speak, leading the club on three fronts at the business end of the season, under immense pressure. Even if we were to lose both finals, I'll stand by what I said - the only manager I see currently as a better choice than RDM is perhaps Mourinho.

cant say im overly mad on wanting RDM but surely he deserves another season? what you think

Give him the Freakin' Job...Dude guided us to one of our most storied result in our Club's history. Down 2 goals & w/ only 10 men. Dude knows how to get the most out of his players & it is freakin' workin right now!!! Why not carry that into a fresh season??? In my mind Robbie D is the MAN!!!

I mean hes done a good job but i dont think hes that good a manager thats all. I think the reason we have done so well is our main players have decided to start playin again now avbs gone and also teams almost always get a massive boost whenever there is a change of manager. we've also been very lucky e.g. beating wigan when we should have lost. I dont think hes very good tactically and just because we beat barca by putting 10 men behind the ball and counter attacking every now and again doesnt make him a tactical genius. Rubin Kazan do this all the time against barcelona and with their lack of any quality is much more impressive even if they did have 11 men on the field. I also think weve been playing very boring football since he arrived which suprised me cos i remember watchin wba when he was in charge and they played great football. I just think if we hire him we will have no chance next season especially if he continues to play kalou.

It's either José or Robbie. Right now Robbie deserves it more.

However, it is not just results that have been impressive and Di Matteo, and indeed Eddie Newton, has given Chelsea their identity – a proud one at that – back. After all, one of Chelsea proudest images of the decade was that of an injured (fatally, for his football career, from a horrific triple-leg fracture against Saint Gallen on 28 September, 2000) Di Matteo leading Chelsea out in the FA Cup final in 2002 and under Claudio Ranieri, Chelsea became most neutrals’ team. Surprising to some, but many of Chelsea’s fans are not the Abramovich-centered, commercial-focused and flag-wielding brigade that some the Blues’ following seemingly devolved into as the other side of the paradox of unprecedented success. So, with the Di Matteo’s return, it has been no surprise that the likes of Marcel Desailly, Michael Dubbery and Gianfranco Zola have come out and supported their ex-teammate and in the process, Chelsea have re-connected with their cherished, cup-winning past.

that means he can adopt his style depending on the resources available to him. This is bright side of his managerial capability.

Yeah that is what I pointed out before. RDM is a very astute men.

And since Mourinho is not leaving Madrid this summer, I do hope RDM gets a chance, plus I like to see them bring Zola.

Opinions are great, we're a forum and that's what forums are about but anyone who doesn't want Robbie to have at least another season is nuts imo :D You can get or buy the biggest name in football but you can't buy passion and desire. All will be decided around 10pm on 19th May i think. Unless it's a late one.
