Blue_Fox_ 2,086
Good news! Hope he takes this chance with both hands and rocks it. I also hope José will play him at number 8.
DYC. 7,542
Again, Mourinho spouting nonsense. Just recently he wasn't ready. That magical word: ready.I hope Cheek is completely unfazed by the mess around him and puts in a strong performance. Maybe we'll actually witness a functioning midfield. Blue-in-me-Veins 4,067
It'll be RLC and Cesc. You can book it. Feel bad for the youngin', will probably be turned into a DM. What can you do. Sir Mikel OBE 4,920
You remember when he called out Loftus-Cheek for "Only being hurt when we didnt have the ball" for an end of season preseason match, but where is this same vitriol towards Fabregas who let a free header in the box?Blatant favoritism on display. didierforever and Bosnian Blue

Gilvorak 3,734
Great game today as a #10. Lithuania played a really deep block with 10 men behind the ball but he still was by far the best player on the pitch. His technical ability is just ridiculously special and he's almost impossible to knock off the ball. His only huge flaw is he clearly isn't a natural goalscorer, he hammered in one tonight but he could've easily scored a hat-trick if not for poor finishing. Wonder if he'll ever improve that aspect of his game over the years. killer1257 and lucio

quickpassnmove 924
We should be playing 4-3-3 some of the time at Chelsea with RLC in the mix. would do well for our future and maybe help the present.

BlueLion. 21,491
I was at the U21s international last night and whilst Ruben had a good game, he was by no means outstanding. He took his goal well, but he was lazy and frequently couldn't be bothered tracking back to help his team. On top of that, his finishing was poor and realistically should have at least doubled his goal tally. The people calling him "our best midfielder" are, I'm afraid, well wide of the mark. He has a talent for sure, but let's not overhype him. At the minute, he is a decent young player, but lightyears behind the Luke Shaws, Ross Barkleys, etc. of this world in terms of his development. Gilvorak 3,734
Linked with Tielemans again lads who's the better player RLC or Tielemans??Different type of players. Tielemans is a young Scholes, Xavi, Alonso in the making while RLC is more Gullit, Pogba, Yaya. There's a place for both in our team. You call him lazy but I remember him tracking back to win the ball after giving it away with a poor pass. Obviously he isn't WIllian in terms of workrate but he's clearly made strides in that aspect of his game after Jose's public criticism.I agree with you on his poor finishing but he was by far the most creative player on the pitch and his technique was a level above everyone else's.
