Edit: Lew Baker with a goal, too. We should use Chalobah and Loftus this year but probably Mikel will get chance sooner ย it would be a perfect chance because we don't have much depth in 3 men midfield

OneMoSalah 8,886
I think it makes more sense playing him as a CF if I'm honest. kmk108 1,186
Well, if he's worthy of being in the first team, it definitely isn't as striker. He did maybe 1 or 2 things and then jogged around for the rest of the time.

petre.ispirescu 4,928
I'm starting to believe that he is that hyped mainly because of his physique. Not saying he does not possess certain qualities, I think he's got bags of potential, but his attitude is.. mehh...... He's never shown that hunger, that type of convincing performance to show that he wants to play ahead of Oscar or Matic or anyone in midfield. He just... played it safe always. Followed the instructions, tracked back and that's it. Nothing bad, but not great either. Average stuff. Such a shame because now (this season when Chelsea lacks quality midfielders) it was the perfect time for him to make a statement and impose himself. Next season might just be too late. Just look at Loftus-Cheek and Dele Alli, two years ago, both of them were just hyped english youngsters, now the latter is playing regularly for a top-6 premier league team after proving himself in League 1/Championship over the course of 2-3 years.ย ย

Leif 6,006
When you probably don't even want to be a footballer, but you're forced into it before you're 10 years old (an age when passions should still be developing and found out naturally, not pushed on you) and are likely a millionaire by the time you're 20, you're far more focused on all the poon you're going to slay each weekend, all the places you're going to go and see etc. than you are focused on a game you don't care about. Which let's be clear about, he doesn't. If you care about anything, it is evident to onlookers. If you want to be a good football player, we can see it, even if you're shit. But he shows 0 signs of wanting to be here or on any football pitch. He can't believe he's getting game time and money for doing absolutely nothing. But that's the parent's fault as well as his own fault. I'm sure there are far more of these young players that don't care about football in the least. It's a generational, & being spoiled thing.
