daBlackMamba7 174
I don't want Redknapp to leave as Mourinho or Hiddink could go to Spurs, which I would hate.I really dont see this Mourinho to Spurs anytime in the nearest future (except the get some owner with major funds), let us look at the man's history for a second, from Porto who in my opinion is a bigger club than Spurs and have achieved more in European football than even us. He left there for Chelsea, the glamour and life of London with a Billionaire owner with an open check book....After that he went to the italian giants, Inter Milan do i need to explain this?...Where he left and went to the biggest club in the world and we all think he will leave managing Ozil, Benzema, Di Maria, Ronaldo, Ramos, d list keeps going and Real Madrid to come manage shittham hotspurs and the likes of Walker, Bale, VDV and Adebayor ( both madrid reject)?...You must be seeing something i am not... I am only scared of Mourinho going to either Man U (stupid history/legacy n all that BS and they all have money to spend) or City (Billionaire owners) not to Levy that he scraping to put Modric on good wages..Where will they even get the money for his wages and to get him?...lolAs for Hiddink, well cant say much..Hope he values is relationship with is one Russian billionaire friend and still has is eyes on some upstairs job at CFC.....Whatever happens if Redknapp leaves spurs now, they will be fucked for the rest of the season
Fulham Broadway 17,313
No way Mourinho would go to Spuds except in their delusory special needs minds....Back to Capello -well fuck me an Italian abandoning a sinking ship, who'd have thought it ? Kez 2,727
Anyone reckon he was forced into resigning by the FA? They obviously wouldn't of been happy with his comments about JT's captaincy & they don't want a manger that will go against them. Harry's just been found not guilty convenient timing if you ask me...Surely the FA aren't stupid enough to fuck themselves over & not have a manager lined up 4 months before a major tournamt. If harry does become manager I hope it's before the end of the season so spurs will be fucked! Can't see Jose going to Spurs, he's better than that.Well done Fabio you grew some balls finally, only 2 years too late sunshine.
eldo 868
I didn't know that.I don't even think the England manager has to be 'English'. He should simply have an understanding of the English game, and be frequent in English. This whole 'England manager should be English' is nonsense.I agree, but imo it's too soon for Brendan. If you quit a job, you don't have to sign anything that says you won't say anything... But they can write it if you're leaving for any other reason, i.e. sacked, redundant.I think he was booted out, signed a contract that said he would say he quit and that he won't say a word, and get's a cool couple of million out of it. Milan 17,956
It would be silly if JT now turned his back to England, after Capello stood up for him!

I'll be surprised if JT even gets a look in now tbh. He's probably better retiring before he's snubbed.

Surprised thought he was gana turn around and aplogise or whatever but good on him...Ole Harry then no doubt
zolayes 14,489
Redknapp will get a win-win situation. If England get knocked out even earlier than usual, he can blame it on the disarray that the squad was in when he inherited it, etc. If he lucks out and England make it to the quarters/semi's, he'll have the media fawning on him and a much more enhanced reputation. Seems like the kind of deal that slimy bloke likes to take. You have to admire (grudgingly) his opportunism. One upshot of the whole affair is that Spurs will go back to mid table mediocrity. VdV, Modric, Bale etc. will probably leave and it would be great if we could snap up one of them.arry is the model used car dealer ,,,,He will now revel in his standing with the press and media ,,he might well stay at spurs with rosie gettinganother big bonus . He would avoid the poison chalice of the England job and keep his reputation intactArry will look after Arry ,,,he always has ,,,check about Billy Bonds at West Ham or ask the Saints fans about him. Kojo 4,676
What difference does it make if it's four month before the tournament anyway... this is England remember!, England usually do play well before tournaments and are ready then go and play terrible in the actual thing. I think the problem has always been the words and motivation with England, never about tactics or how to play better football, because we've had the best managers to do that, Capello was one. Redknapp would be perfect because for me he's the best motivator in the league.

CHOULO19 24,332
Sorry f it's been posted before, but Stuart Pearce has taken over as the England head coach temporarily:http://www.thefa.com/England/News/2012/press-conference-09-02-12.aspxBetter option than 'Arry if I'm honest.
