Oh god, not that 'new kaka', 'new ronaldinho', 'new [insert name]' business.

That's the last thing any youngster needs.

That's a very good point.. Itp uts them under way to much pressure to live upto that 'tag' and too much expectation is put on them to succeed.

A lot of sources confirming this so I guess there has to be some fire. He won't feature in the first team for the next couple of years but I'd like some extended highlights to know what he's like.

This is the best I could find, pretty shite mobile footage most of it. The bit when he's at the corner flag at Old Trafford is a good bit of play.

is he joining or not? im proper confused!!! Guardian are also covering this:

http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2011/mar/15/chelsea-brazilian-teenager-lucas-piazon

Piazon is joining, but will arrive only in the fall of the year, but Paizon wont join.

They forgot Ramires.

He is not brazilian, he is the blue kenyan.

I take it Paizon is not the way to spell his name.

What's the rules on non EU players now a days? I know it used to be strict, even Croatians and Czechs at the time took a space up.

Goal.com are reporting that the deal is already done. Anyway it looks like it is certain to be done now with the media pretty much unanimous in their verdict, great signing for the club, delighted that we are trying to sign these young prodigies at an early age for a fairly cheap price rather than waiting until they are past their best and trying to sign them for 30-40 million for a number of years (Kaka anyone?)
