Kevin de Bruyne

Mata showed mentality and still isn't playing, not sure if mentality is the issue.

Exactly, more play is key. 3-4 appearances is not for real in a whole semi season. Mata struggled while playing a LOT more, Ba sucks while playing a LOT more, Schurrle is living it right now in the no play low confidence zone.

We lost this one, and it is unfortunately our fault. Context of needing to perform and get points didnt enable us to bring him. Period.

I really hope that we get a buy-back clause in the deal.

I think Kevin is a great player that just needs playing time to show his real potential, so it would be very nice to have the chance to re-sign him in a couple of years.

Well, at least we earn some money from this sale compared to the price we paid for him.

A bit silly to sell him now unless its for a really good price. It should be a loan. Watch his price rise during the summer.

True.

Kevin has looked awesome for Belgium over the past year, so it couldn't hurt to showcase him during the World Cup where he's likely to be a standout for his national team and THEN decide what to do with him. If he lights it up we can either keep him and give him another shot or jack up the transfer fee if another club want him permanently.

His manager is saying a deal is far from being done. He says a new detail made it difficult to sign a deal with Wolfsburg.

Probably the 'detail' would be the asking price, Chelsea are playing hard to get, and want big bucks from KDB.

The Daily Mail are reporting that the agents of Chelsea's Belgium midfielder Kevin De Bruyne have agreed terms with Wolfsburg. If the two clubs can now strike terms, the 22-year-old will head back to the Bundesliga. The Germans are understood to be willing to part with £17million to sign De Bruyne permanently but the Blues may only be willing to sanction a loan move.

£17 million, yes please!
