It still is beyond me why we bought Moses. Not that he isn't a good player,he is,but we simply don't need him.Now next season will be kind of a mess,I can see De Bruyne leaving.

You also have to look at the fact that Mata,Oscar and Hazard almost never get injured.

i agree completely with the thought on why we didnt need to buy moses. but to say that mata-oscar-hazard never get injured? bro they still need rest.

KDB if you think about it can be the our Moses and Mierles replacements. we can play him in the pivot and on the wing if need be. My excitement for him is beyond measure.....him and McEachran in my eyes are our real future gems.

McEachran needs to go live in a gym for like 2 years, he's too lightweight, needs a bit more muscle like Hazard, Mata.

As for KDB, I can't wait to see him in a Chelsea shirt. I'm glad we snapped him up from Genk for a bargain fee.

Think about it, in the next couple of years we don't need any reinforcement for our midfield probably except a decent DM.

Behind the CF, we've already got three maestros in Mata Oscar and Hazard, then we have Marin and Moses on the bench and the promising Piazon in Reserves. Move a little bit deeper, we have Mikel Ramires and Romeu. Furthermore, we also have De Bruyne McEachran and Kakuta on loan.

I mean, wow! just wow! The selection is fruitful and all of them are very young! it's going to be a serious headache for the manager though. Kudos to Roman!

MoM-performance from De Bruyne yesterday. Played as a right midfielder and created almost every danger for the Belgians.

First goal : terrific first time cross to find Villa's Christian Benteke.

Second goal : counter-attack finished by De Bruyne himself.

But he also put Hazard through on goal with a lovely through-ball with the outside of his right foot. Pure class... Don't know if you guys can watch this video from outside of Belgium, but you can see the through ball at 10:15 :

Agree man, and if Mikel is developing like last couple of months, mby we won't need DM anyway. We only need a big name striker to lead us properly !

I actually believe his future is in a more central role. Because I can't see him playing on the right except in a four-man midfield.

Same here.He has got the passing ability to play in the pivot. In the future i think the competition between him and josh for that midfield position will be very interesting,I fancy de bruyne over josh though.

We should always look to improve no matter how good we think the team is, it's improving teams when on top that keep's top teams at the top.

I think they could play very well together in a 4-3-3 midfield if they are given enough time to develop chemistry. Josh as the initiating force, starting our attacks and being the little general, whereas KDB could serve as our midfield engine, making runs into the box, shooting from distance, playing the long range passes and being the goal threat Lampard used to be in his prime.

How has Mikel developed that significantly over the last couple of months? He's always been good, people are just coming round to it now.

And isn't Torres a "big name striker"?

Mikel is developing?, he's still not good enough for this team and we will do better with a replacement. He couldn't play with any reliability what so ever, always leaving his man unmarked and being clumsy in the midfield.

I even said myself he can be a useful player this season if someone like Ramires or Romeu where with him, because they can cover him a lot more. Ramires has been the midfield maestro lately, was brilliant against Arsenal, can cover a lot of ground, so Mikel doesn't have to be the one dropping back.

But he's still a poor player and why waste him in our team, get someone better if we want to win things. Like a deep lying playmaker sort.

And what about Oscar? Altough he is not a muscle man he plays fantastic.

Forget this crap. If a player got talent big muscles aren't necessary at all.

Torres is a big name clown.
